Escalon High School sets high expectations for all students by using innovative, student-centered, relevant instruction with a focus on learning results. Our students are socially responsible individuals and effective communicators who value learning and strive for personal excellence. They graduate from Escalon High as highly literate, independent critical thinkers who have the knowledge, skills, and motivation to be economically independent.
Services
The Academic Decathlon, or Acadec for short, is an annual academic competition hosted locally by the San Joaquin County Office of Education(S.J.C.O.E.) and nationally by the United States Academic Decathlon (U.S.A.D.). Acadec is open to all Escalon High School students. In fact, our school's team must be composed of students with GPA's ranging from below 2.0 to above 4.0.
The CSF, founded in 1921, is the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California and emphasizes high scholarship standards and community service for high school students across the state. Membership in CSF shows that you're dedicated to academic excellence and community service, both strong indicators of motivation, good character, positive personality and healthy ambition.
The Sacred Heart Club is the club for Escalon Students who practice Catholicism and for any students who like to learn the teachings of the Catholic Church. The club reaches out to students to gain a better understanding of their faith and equip them with answers to many questions that they receive from peers who practice other faiths.
We are the Spanish Club of EHS, a group of students who show pride in our Hispanic heritage. Throughout the year, we host Club Socials to interact with members of the club, participate in community service, and organize events that advocate for our education, such as attending college fairs and visiting colleges.
The following forms and documents are required to enroll a student at Escalon High School. California schools are required to check immunization records for all new student admissions.
