Long story, I bought my trailer at Tropic Trailer (Marianna, FL) and was referred to talk to the office in Ft Myers, But the guy in Marianna said he would call and push for the title paperwork. Why would a customer need to follow up on required paperwork, a well organized company would have this done all automatically, but not these clowns. Got my title and was waiting for my plate to arrive, after two months I called the Ft Myers office, a very unfriendly woman on the phone answered, I asked to speak to someone else, she advised that there are no one else I could talk too and she hung up (only

Extremely unreliable and untrustworthy. My first attempt to get a trailer hitch receiver installed on my car resulted in the wrong part being ordered - no biggie, mistakes like that happen. They ordered another receiver and told me that it would arrive the following Wednesday. I called back the following Thursday afternoon after not getting a call. I was told the part has arrived and I could get it installed right away. I dropped off the car at 2:00 pm and was told it work take one hour to install. At 4:15 pm, I called back and was told it was taking longer than expected to install the part

My experience with Gary at Tropic has always been honest, ethical and fair. I have purchased 5+ trailers of many types from Gary for my business and for personal use with zero issues!! I called Gary on Tuesday in regards to upgrading one of my trailers, he could have taken it on trade but he was extremely honest with me and informed me that it would make more sense to sell it. Well it sold in one day and I am now heading over this morning to pick out a new car hauler. Ask for Gary, you will not regret it!!

Buyer beware, shipping containers sold here are definitely NOT water tight. We were assured at purchase that it would not leak, and the day after they set it on our property, it rained and it leaked in MULTIPLE locations. When we contacted them, they offered to order us some 'tape' to fix it, but not to replace it or come fix it themselves. VERY disappointed and really wish we had gone with a more reliable company.

Called to set an appointment, was only a few days out 2 or 3. Lady on phone was super nice and spot on the estimate total. Went in today for my appointment to install gooseneck hitch in my truck. Steve the tech did a very clean job, I also asked him to not turn my truck full lock because I had wide tires on at the moment. He took good care of my truck and showed me how it all worked. 2 lady's I talked to while I waited where very friendly. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this company. A++++

These guys rock! We bought a boat with a trailer in Cape Coral and started back to Marco. Pulled over to check the hubs and one was 175*. We obviously couldn't make it back to Marco (and it was a Saturday). Called Tropic Trailer 5 minutes before they closed and they stayed late after hours waiting for us and fixed our trailer. Who does that now days? Thank you so much!

I ordered a new tandem axle trailer from Jeff Zat, who I had been having a phone dialog with for about a month before making my purchase. Jeff is the consummate professional, courteous, knowledgeable, honest and followed through on EVERYTHING we discussed and he promised over the phone.
I ordered my trailer with stainless steel hardware and it came in came in standard galvanized hardware which I didn't discover until I got it home.
