Nino's

Today I decided to give a last chance to Nino's in Monte Vista and again I was dissapointed .When I ordered O I asked kindly the tostada this time to be not soggy but as krispy as it's always in Alamosa's Nino's.(I didn't mention the guacamole is always much less as well.) That was taken care of ,but the enchilada was old and hard as shoe's outsole.The most disappointment was from the not respectful reaction of the girl who usually accepts the payments after letting her know that few times something is wrong with the food.She looked at me as I am nuts and didn't say a word as "I am sorry! "or

Just tried to eat there on Sunday. Arrived 6:50. Server met us at the door with cell phone in hand saying they're closed.. We remarked it was not 7:00. She told us it was and they would not serve us. There wasa large group of 12 sitting at a table eating. Bad deal! Won't try them again

Great food, service, and price. You choose the heat and did not disappoint. Hot was HOT, mild was mild. Food was out quick and piping hot. Service was efficient. Def recommend. Will be back.

Great Mexican Food in the small Town of Monte Vista CO. Food was a lot and very nice. I could have used a hotter hot sauce but did not ask because the cooler stuff tasted great. Chips very nice!

We had not eaten here for several years. Our food was amazing and the portion sizes were great. They have the best green chili! Also the owners son waited on us after we expressed a concern about one of his employees. He was so kind in reassuring us that our food was safe and there would be no problems. He is the reason we order out. And will go back in again. Great customer service and wonderful food.

Huge portions! Chili was good. Did I mention huge portions for the price?!!! Great service acknowledged me a soon as I walked in. Our server listened. Great job Ralph R.

Me and a couple friends decided to go here for a nice bit to eat with a margarita. The margaritas were good but our food wasn't at all what we expected. Our burgers seemed like they were frozen not fresh. The bacon on the burgers were very fatty and the salsa tasted more like ketchup with a little spice. I wasn't to excited about the guacamole either. Our server was nice but seemed very overwhelmed but it looked like it was only her and another guy so being a server myself I understood. If I did decide to return here i defiantly would get something else but this place wouldn't be my first choice

The burrito I had was really good- smothered in a green chile sauce and tons of cheese. The quesadilla sampler was also very tasty. The chips were very disappointing- they were cold and they didn't offer queso with them.
All in all, it was not bad; but, not amazing either. Prices were about as expected.

They always seem to close early. Many times I've called 30 minutes before closing for a take out order and they never answer the phone. They don't want your business, they just want to close up and go home.

The place is so nice the staff are very nice and on it to make you feel like you are getting the best service and the food is the very best love everything here Nino's number one in my book

Great food. Matthew from LA is a great server! He was so helpful from the margaritas, to the recommended entrees, to the sights we absolutely must before we leave the San Luis Valley. He also chases us down in the parking lot as we were leaving because one of the environmentally conscious people of our party forgot their aluminum straw. We'll definitely go back the next time we're in Monte Vista. Can't wait to come back. ☺

Amazing and super friendly service. The guy working there was some of the best wait staff I've ever encountered. Food was awesome too. The Azteca style tostada was amazing and some of the best food I've had from a local Mexican restaurant. The rice was also exceptional. Don't be put off by the atmosphere which could use a little work, and have some great food!

Each dining experience here has been very pleasant! We will be back when we are in the area!! 😁 We really enjoy the generous portion of the green chili 🌶 that brings us back!!

Went today. Service was very good. Food was not very good. Asked for medium hot chile but both red and green were bland. The best thing on the enchiladas was a few pieces of onion.

This place has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since I was a kid. Every time I go in I always feel at home. Amazing people and amazing food all around.
