We have been absolutely blessed by having North Texas Solar install our solar system 2 years ago June 3rd. We were experiencing monthly electric bills from $160 to $310. In the 24 months we have had our 50 panels operating We have only had to pay in 6 months. Our provider pays us the same price for each kwh we sell back as they charge for each kwh we use. It is a win-win situation. However, during the "Ice age" we enjoyed this February we were without power for 4.5 days.
After we thawed out we decided to get a battery backup to avoid the blackout, and we are in that process right now.

Enjoyed working with Jake. Recommend a great system. We get credits consistently during the winter that pay for our power into the summer cooling season. They used quality components. Recently, we had a nasty hail storm. It shattered several solar panels on our neighbors home that were installed by another company. In fact the windshield my my truck was trashed and our roof needs to be replaced. But our solar panels were completely undamaged. North Texas Solar did a great job for us.

Great service! We recently built our dream cabin in the woods on the lake. North Texas Solar tirelessly helped us setup a 100% off grid solar system that powers our whole house! We are so grateful! Even with the insane, tragic weather Texans have just gone through we remained warm. We never lost power and were therefore able to keep our well water from freezing so we never lost our water either. They are always very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

I think solar is great and hopefully I’ll have decades of trouble free clean power. That said, my experience with North Texas Solar has been horrible. Two install dates were scheduled and canceled last minute due to lack of parts. Don’t schedule unless you have all the parts! When they did come, they had the wrong parts and said, “We'll be back later.” When finally replaced, they did not work (yet another install visit). How about testing equipment first? They damaged gutters and said they were already damaged (the gutters were 3 days old - brand new). After three weeks I arranged for the

I've had the solar panel up for 6 months now and I love it. It took about 3 months for me not to have any electric bill. Then from there I was just netting. The product works. As for the service, having it put up. The guys and gals did a great job putting it up and did not take long. They were pleasant to work with and if you ever needed anything Jake was quick to get back with you and take care of it. Jake took care of everything from start to finish and did not have to do anything.
