In 2011 on the Washington DC mall was DOE' Solar Decathion where several universities displayed homes of the future featuring solar. The idea that energy could be generated from the sun was amazing - solar energy.
In 2015, Solarugreen was formulated with the idea to educate the public about the advantage of solar energy. Each year extreme weather -snow storms and rain storms cause electricity outage where million of dollars of food is lost. What if we use solar to energized our lives to prevent such spoilage?

Services
Our services are based on Photovoltaic (PV) technology, implementing solar energy system with solar panels, DC-to-AC conversions equipment, electrical integration and IoN communication. Solar can be paired with battery storage "Solar-Plus-Storage" to provide on-demand energy and emergency backup energy.
We got our Solar System installed by Solarugreen at a very competitive price and it is working very well. Professional installation and outstanding customer service by their manager/Owner (Janet). After installation, Janet keeps following up with me to make sure our solar system is working. We will use them again.
Solar for a residence is designed to match and exceed the properties electricity usage. The purpose is to generate extra electricity in the summer month to compensate for low sun hours in the fall and winter months. Solar budget could be $1,800 a year for financing the solar system, total cost not exceeding $45,000.00.
A home Heating and AC usage is over 55% of the monthly cost. During the day, the HVAC unit receives electricity directly from the solar panels-energy system. After dark, the HVAC returns to standard electricity from the grid. Solar panels are rated based on the energy production "efficiency" during standard testing.
The major component of Off-Grid solar is storage. Now On-Grid solar can have storage. The battery storage provide energy after the solar stops harvesting electricity, as backup power during an emergency grid outage. Generac the generator company has expanded into renewable with the new solar+storage system.

Solar panels plus storage has increased my efficiency and lowered my carbon footprint. After doing extensive research on which solar provider will provide me with the overall best service, warranty, long-term care and maintenance, I narrowed it down to; Telsa and Solarugreen. Even though I own their car, their customer service, both vehicles and solar programs was less than desirable. I selected Solarugreen as my local provider and installer, because they could provide local service, respond to additional requests for added upgrades, and they have prior knowledge, experience, and installation

My solar panels were installed by a company from Austin that is no longer in business. I was directed by EnPhase Energy to find a company in Dallas to provide support when my panels stopped reporting their output. Janet, the owner/manager for Solarugreen, made multiple trips to my home and persisted with EnPhase until we got the answers and solution to correct the problem. My panels are working and reporting as they should. She and her electricians did a great job and I would highly recommend their services!
