Getting to know your photographer is a great first step in having a great photo experience. So why don't I share a little more about myself. Northern Virginia native, born and raised. I have lived everywhere from Centreville, to Alexandria, and now Haymarket. This has given me an appreciation for the area and the beauty it has to offer, including the rich Virginia landscape and the people who reside here.

The Emily Marcella Wedding Experience offers simply classic photography with a mix of details, candid, and posed images, to artfully illustrate the connection you two share. Portrait sessions include a one hour session, all edited high-resolution digital files, and printing rights with the option to share and print directly from your gallery.

Emily was a blessing to find as a photographer for our family. She was flexible and responsive to unexpected events, and came ready with ideas towards our vision. She is warm and inviting and great with children and pets. Our photos turned out beautifully and we would highly recommend her to friends and family and will definitely be contacting her again.

Emily was a dream to work with! I hired her for my son’s cake smash shoot and had a safari theme which Emily captured perfectly! She was so quick to snap the perfect moments! Even captured my parents bottle feeding my baby in between shots which was so precious. I am so happy with the end result and would absolutely recommend her for any occasion!

I did an extensive search for a photographer to capture group shots at a recent family reunion and finding Emily was a dream come true. Her fees were extremely reasonable and being given a download link I could share with the rest of my family added further value as our beautiful, professional photos could be a gift for everyone. That would have been enough to make me a satisfied customer but Emily went above and beyond by reaching out to the Loudoun County venue we had picked to make sure photography was allowed (a detail I hadn't thought of) and being the most friendly, organized person to work

Hiring Emily as our photographer for our maternity shoot was the best decision! She was extremely professional and quick with response times! She had great ideas for places to shoot and captured a variety of shots that make it impossible to pick a favorite. Emily is extremely talented and made the entire process so enjoyable. It was such an incredible honor to work with Emily and her team! We had Emily and another photographer capture our big day and it was truly the greatest experience. Had such an amazing experience getting my daughters senior photos taken. Emily was so helpful, sweet and professional with my daughter. Emily was absolutely the best photographer I could ever wish for. James and I are a mixed couple who always have a hard time finding a photographer who will not wash him out, or make me look too dark. Emily has perfected it and is the absolute best when it comes to telling us what to do so our photos aren't awkward. She always gives us more photos than we agreed on and takes her time to edit them all perfectly with a quick turn around time. Emily was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! For our session, she mentioned that this was her first (if not one of her first) surprise engagement sessions and she did a fabulous job!!! I had no idea she was even there until she came up and introduced herself (which was great because I've heard of people being tipped off they're getting proposed to because the photographer was too obvious). Emily has this wonderful excited and bubbly personality that made the session so much more fun and relaxed!

Emily did a fantastic job with our pregnancy announcement photos. She was very flexible with scheduling options and came to our home, props and equipment in hand! She made us feel very comfortable and was even able to capture several photos of us with our two dogs, who normally do not sit still for photos. We were so happy with the end result and love our pictures! It was an added bonus that Emily edited the photos and shared them with us within days of our shoot. We're looking forward to having Emily do our newborn shoot in a couple months. We highly recommend working with her!
