Calera Orthodontics is a family-oriented practice, committed to our patients and surrounding communities. Dr. Brittany Reid was born and raised in Hoover, Alabama. She obtained a bachelor's degree at Birmingham Southern College, then completed her doctoral degree at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry.
Dr. Reid remained at UAB to complete a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry before entering the master's program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Reid is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and is the Central Director of the Alabama Association of Orthodontists.

We love Dr. Reid and her team. My daughter, (age 4), had to begin treatment for an overbite. With her being so young Dr. Reid was super helpful with explaining our options. We decided to do a gummy guard to buy us some time before addressing the overbite. The team was so patient with my daughter. Haley was great & made us 3 different guards! We’re looking forward to finishing treatment with Dr. Reid and her staff!

If you are considering this ortho, you have found the right place! This is hands down the BEST ortho around. Dr. Reid is so amazing at what she does, right alongside the team of girls assisting. They make me so comfortable and treat me like family. I am currently in the process of changing one of my biggest flaws, not having straight teeth, and I am so pleased with everything so far. It’s going so well that people do not even understand why I have braces. It has only been a couple months!! Anyways, don’t wait… act now!! They’re awesome and you will not regret it.
