Services
Lisa Brown worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Eric Washington, formerly, the Chief Judge of the D.C. Court of Appeals. She then worked as an associate in the Employment Department of Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker, LLP, an international law firm, where she focused on employee benefits for national and international corporations.
Our advisory, consultation, and litigation services are currently available in the following areas of practice:. Estate Planning is for everyone. It ensures that you choose what happens to you in terms of your financial affairs and health care decisions if you become incapacitated. It ensures that your religious and social values, financial assets, and family history are passed on to your descendants or whomever you choose.
Having a Will Alone Simply Does Not Ensure the Care of Your Kids If the Unthinkable Happens to You!. If you are a parent of minor children (or those with special needs) who are counting on you, your estate plan must begin with ensuring your children would always be taken care of by the people you want, in the way you want, no matter what happens.
Many estate planning attorneys take a "one-size fits all" approach with their clients; they do this so that they can work with as many people as possible in a short period of time. The problem is that the client has impersonal experience; but worse than that, this way of planning can lead to unintended results in the long run for the family.

We went to court for custody. Lisa prepared a thorough case against my children's mother. This custody battle was 4 years in the making. In court she painted a picture of the facts while protecting me. We won primary custody of my two daughters. I could not be happier. Also, Mr. Brown was a great help in teaching me how to cope with how you need to treat the other parent as you go through this difficult situation. I can not wait to start the school year with my two bright little girls. Happy Girl Dad!

Probably the worse representation you can hire. Hired this firm back in 2017, after three years of waiting i had to contact the State Bar Association because of the lack interest Mrs. Brown showed toward my case. She even tried to get me to agree to false information pertaining to my divorce, while also submitting paperwork to withdraw from my case because i was unsatisfied with the representation. Needless to say I lost a case that should have been a slam dunk for me. Now i only get to see my son 20 days of the year.

They reached out to me but the man who was talking to me was a little rude. Didn’t like the way he was talking to me about my situation. Then he said that the lawyer would contact me. Well... she didn’t. Then days later I called again & the guy answered the phone. He said they were busy at the moment because of the Election Day. He also mentioned she would contact me again. Well... over a wk has passed, & this law firm has still not contacted me. I was going to go visit them, but after reading the reviews... I’m not going to even bother. If you don’t want my business, I sure as hell don’t

I keep it simple, she charged the price of a very good attorney, I paid for a separation document that is legally worthless, after she was paid she ignored my calls and my new lawyer thought I had written the 6 page separation document MYSELF- think about it I paid 4k+ for that. Also she basically gave my ex more than HE HAD EVEN ASKED FOR and now I have agreed on paper to less than a random judge would have given me both financially and custody wise! Basically this lawyer is as bad as a lawyer can get.

DO NOT HIRE!!!! If I could give no stars I would!!! Save yourself the time and money! They are not worth what they want. They are the most ill prepared attorneys I have ever dealt with! They say we owe them money. They lost our case wouldn’t call my husband back for weeks and finally did the AFTERNOON BEFORE COURT THE NEXT AM. Charged outrageous fees for “preparation” she walked in there and didn’t even know my husbands case. He had 50/50 custody and took his ex court himself even had her found in contempt of court. Our lawyer was so ill prepared that he got time TAKEN FROM HIM. Do not

After arriving 50 minutes late for my initial consultation without so much as a text or email informing me that would be the case, and forgetting my name, the counselor could not get his computer to work and wouldn't tell me if he had any staff (after he mentioned there was a lot of turnover in the office). He said my questions about his business were 'irrelevant' to my choosing to work with him, and reminded me where the doors were. I told him I wouldn't trust him to fill out a standardized form for me or my family, and he kindly asked me to "forget the location of the office while I was at it
