What began in a darkroom in the deepest, darkest, most remote part of the school's basement flourished into a life-long passion. Tom spent the better part of 30+ years as a mainframe systems engineer in the private sector.
He worked for companies like CBS, Inc., Orange County (NY) Government and the premier disaster recovery/business continuity provider, Comdisco (eventually being bought out by SunGard), all the while continuing his passion for photography.He learned as much as he could about light, composition, developing, and many technical aspects of his art.

Absolutely LOVED working with Tom. I needed a photo for the back of my book Connecting the Dots, Ancient Wisdom, Modern Science, which will be released next month as well as a press kit set. He was fast to get back to me, clear about his pricing, and most importantly, he was able to consistently see which angles of my face and posture would produce fabulous photos of me!!! (I did modeling in Tokyo and never did a photographer capture me so attractively so consistently the way that Tom did!) I'm in my late 50's and I was not expecting to feel so great about the way I looked!!!

Even though my daughter’s graduation ceremony was virtual this year she still wanted professional photos. Tom was wonderful. He made her feel at ease and she had a blast posing for the pictures. The photos captured her personality perfectly. I highly recommend Tom Duggan Photography.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Tom Duggan! He was prompt and professional but also lovely to talk to with varied and interesting experiences. He always returned my calls and texts. Having a photo shoot with Tom was Great!. Not only did he put me at ease while taking the pictures...he made it a fun experience. Within a few days I had several photos emailed to me so I could choose my favorites. The hard part was choosing which ones I liked the best. The end result...I have some great head shots to use for my business. Thanks, Tom!
