A stunning true antique, this corner cabinet was made circa 1780. A dark stain on oak is dressed with brass hardware with true patina, including eyelets to hang as it was intended. The single door opens to two fixed shelves with a stylized edge. Character is found throughout in the true patina of this piece as a whole.
Friendship by Alexander Calder uses blocks of blue, orange, red, and yellow to create a strikingly modern composition. A blue and red link in the center represents the bonds of friendship, put forth in a directly symbolic way. Signed and dated in stone, framed in navy and polished brass. About the Artist: Alexander Calder (1898-1976) is best known for his large scale, innovative sculptures, in addition to the prints he created beginning in 1925.
A vintage treasure, this is a first generation Knoll 657 sling chair designed by Charles Pollock. Pollock designed this chair in 1960, and it was manufactured by Knoll from 1964-79. Cast aluminum arms and stretchers are connected to tubular steel legs with exposed hardware. Simple black leather creates the back and wraps the cushioned seat.

Visited this business while working with my boss. He tends to venture here regularly for interior furnishings. The staff are extremely friendly & helful with customer needs. Their knowledge of inventory is superb! I recomend to anyone decorating a room or whole house, to browse the inventory at Grandview Mercantile Company before shopping else where.

An eclectic selection of products, furniture, silver, antiques, jewelry, fixtures from multiple vendors and consigners. Unfortunately not too negotiable on price due to their self-described "strict policies." But you might get 10% off by asking, more if you wait till the next month when the price goes down. Also, you can sell your own items on consignment.

Tons of merchandise, well-organized throughout the exchange. Several employees are always available to help with questions or to search out that unique piece you're looking for. They also do a good job reaching out to folks if you have questions or concerns about the items on display. Not always clear when you can or can't break a set.

Antique store meets high end consignment store. Large to small. Antique to curious. Jewelry to art. Mirrors to chandeliers. It's all here, much of it with pricing set to drop on a set schedule. Fun place to spend an hour.

If you have not been here, you need to go explore the wonder that is this place! There are so many unique things things from furniture and rugs, to wall hangings, china, jewelery, and crystal. It can be pricey but the tags indicate how prices get lower each month that something doesn't sell, so if you have your eye on a piece you like, you may be able to get it cheaper next month. It is a lot of fun just looking around the store.

Grandview Mercantile Company stands head and shoulders above any other purveyor of previously owned merchandise. Every item is displayed to its best advantage. The furniture is dust-free. Silver, brass, and copper are polished, if appropriate for the piece. Crystal is brilliant. Art is curated, to the extent possible, and many of the better items have descriptive text on their price cards.
While some items have fixed prices, most are displayed with a list of decreasing prices and the dates on which each item's price will drop to the next level. If you wait long enough, you'll generally get a great

I hadn't been in since they moved to their new location in Grandview, so I was interested in checking it out. This is a nice large space filled with a lot of neat items to peruse. The center of the space contains a huge amount of furniture and a whole lot of chandeliers. These are accented by colorful rugs and a variety of artwork. Vases, bowls, and other decor items sit on the tables, sideboards, and more. There are a number of cases on the side of the store near the registers that have everything from china and silverware to art and jewelry. There's even some fascinating items like

Bro you want some crap for your house? Get you some here, but only if you're hip AF and have way more money than I do. (You probably do.) Like, it's cool to come here and look around but I can't envision any circumstances where I would actually buy something. This place is basically an artisanal thrift store. Like, if every Belle & Sebastian fan in the world was hired to peruse garage sales and thift stores until they were able to fill a warehouse, this is what you'd come up with. I'm sure you could make yourself a tidy living buying old junk from Facebook Marketplace

I have been to Grandview Mercantile so many times, and I'm surprised it has taken me this long to write a review. But the fact that I mention having gone so many times should tell you how much I like this place. I have seen a few reviews mentioning that it seems to be a home decorations store but that things seem a little old, that their products are overpriced, that they call themselves a "mercantile" but that there is almost nothing in the way of clothing and foodstuffs. People fail to grasp that this is primarily a store that sells antiques and other items that are on consignment

This is my 1st time visiting the new location since I moved & I love it! Don’t get me wrong, I miss all of the windows & natural light from the old location on High Street, but I enjoy not fighting for parking.. Patty was extremely helpful & so nice!!! I cannot wait to stop back in when I visit Columbus again!

Well I can’t say this place isn’t a real local gem, albeit a bit pricey, although when we compare quality and material and contrast it to modern vendors; it’s a long step above them all... What to find at Grandview Mercantile you ask? Everything mostly, it’s a good blend of retro and mid century meets fine antiques and quirky furniture and fixtures. Plenty of eccentric art and upper class and modern arts all the same, we can blanket that sentiment over the whole of the stores offerings and call is a meld of classes of tastes and periods. You might even walk around simply for a to do, and

Good store but the hours are not good. Closes early every evening...I've gotten here once again just to find out the store closes early....thought it might be different on Saturday. This influences my decision almost every time I think about stopping by.

Walked into the Grandview Mercantile yesterday to browse. There were three managers/employees standing in the front of the store when I walked in and not one of them greeted me or asked me if I needed any assistance. Apparently the Mercantile needs some basic training in customer service.

The new location in Grandview is excellent with good parking but oddly, it shares a parking lot with Big Lots, which is a strange pairing. Big Lots is low rent crap, Grandview Mercantile is fancy and expensive.

It's a fun place to kill some time but it is wildly overpriced. This is not a "treasure hunt"-type thrift store. The antiques and jewelry sections are well-done and nicely curated but the furniture area features dated stuff suitable for grandmas and the art work throughout the store is universally tacky.

They use a weird pricing scheme that reduces the item's price

A mix of consignment and set-price home decor and furniture, this is a great move to this new location for Grandview Mercantile Review (GMR). Definitely more space to move about, and things are not as squished into every nook and cranny.

There are some really spiffy furniture options (kitchen tables, lounge chairs, sofas, end caps). Some stuff is ticketed showing the discounted price if the piece is still for sale by the printed date. Yes, as is the case for many consignment stores, you have to keep an eye on the piece you're thinking of buying; if you wait too long, it could get snagged

Tucked around the side of Big Lots, this is a furniture/home decor store with a large selection. Also some jewelry, clothes, etc. All sorts of styles for your home decorating needs, lots of paintings, some kitchenware. Big, and packed, but laid out so you can browse easily. Prices seem reasonable. Sweetie will need to come and see what we need, so I'm sure we'll be back.

I love this place, though I can't really afford this place, heh.

Don't get me wrong--you might be able to afford Grandview Mercantile. It has a wide range of products. But I tend to be drawn to things like a simple dining table with four chairs that is almost $2000 because it is a Danish modern antique. #welp

Combing through the store is always a lot of fun, though, even if I'm not looking to make purchases. They carry a variety of styles and eras. The salespeople are helpful but don't approach me every 2 minutes like people in some furniture stores do.

Definitely stop in

WATCH YOUR STEP!

This was a very interesting store because it was just a huge consignment center consisting of several rooms. They had everything from furniture to jewelry, fine art, sculpture, collectibles and more. I love that their jewelry was displayed behind tall glass shelves so that you did not have to bend over to see items. If you are looking for some nostalgic pieces, something affordable or just a little accent piece for your home or apartment, you should check out this store.

Be careful as you enter because there is a big step up and no warning sign. I stumbled in and as I

I seriously could have spent an entire day in this place browsing and ogling the goods. I loved it so much I went twice during my 4 day stay in Columbus. I purchased several pieces of Taxco sterling that were artist-stamped and in super good condition. I paid very little for really high-quality vintage jewelry so I was SUPER happy. I would encourage any vintage lover to go see this place, especially if you are in the market for fine vintage jewelry or furniture!!!!

Hey! Hey, you! You're broke, you're thrifty, you love old things. Where to go to buy neat furniture, furnishings, and random baubles? Hmm. I daresay GRANVIEW MERCANTILE is where you will go.

This place is huge! I did not expect to spend two hours meandering with such wanderlust. Unleash your imagination and delve into the most beautiful, or intriguing, or weird furnishings our ancestors have owned. Additionally, the articles for sale are reasonably priced and one of a kind. In a blowout sale, I saw a cherry desk set, perfect for a computer or a study area, for $175. I'll gander
