Pai Lum Kung Fu, also known as White Dragon Fist Style Kung Fu, is a traditional Chinese martial art passed down through generations of the Pai family. The late Grandmaster Daniel K. Pai had devoted over 50 years to the development of the Chinese martial arts. His family's system of kicking, sweeping, punching, blocking, and joint locking techniques provide a means for development as a complete martial arts practitioner.
Modern Arnis, also called Kali or Eskrima, is a Filipino style of empty hand fighting, stick fighting, knife fighting, joint locking, and much more. While Arnis is taught within the Kung Fu curriculum, it is a self-defense system that can stand alone or work in conjunction with any other Martial Art.
Martial Arts for children can provide many positive benefits besides basic self-defense. It is an excellent impetus to develop pride, willpower, and a strong work ethic in your child. At the Mechanicsburg Kung Fu center, we provide the motivation and support for your child to facilitate the process.
Can't attend class in person due to time constraints or health reasons? Don't worry, the Mechanicsburg Kung Fu Center offers all students the ability to attend live class virtually. Instructors will explain and modify movements specific to those training from home, even allowing questions in real time, making lessons accessible to everyone.
A 45-minute class will provide a basic introduction to any of the art forms taught. This class will provide an excellent and thorough understanding to start grasping some of the basic concepts and principles. With a base and foundation, it will allow you to begin your training more comfortably.

My daughter and I love the spirit of this Kung Fu center- the energy, the instructors, the setting, and the resources are all excellent; consistent, encouraging, structured, well-expressed, authentic, intentional, and kind. I'm very thankful for their time and efforts and hope they continue to help improve people's lives for many years to come! Thank you.

I HIGHLY recommend the Mechanicsburg Kung Fu Center for anyone, no matter what level you are. I was a complete beginner that never had a martial arts class in my life! I originally joined to support my husband but found I absolutely loved it! The two teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and every member of my class is incredibly supportive and kind. I think my favorite part is that the school offers more than just Kung Fu so I was able to dabble in other areas that were exciting and fun such as Tai Chi, Yoga and Arnis (which was my favorite!). Not to mention that they offer virtual classes if

Our son has been a student of Brian's for almost two years. In that time we have noticed our son's self confidence has increased immensely. He is extremely proud of his progress as are we! Brian Lahr is an amazing instructor. He is passion for his art really shows during his instruction. He has the utmost respect for his students and recieves it in return. He treats them as young adults not little kids. We could not be more pleased!

Highly recommend for adult students!
I've never been athletic and I get bored quickly with every workout program I've ever tried. I signed up at Mechanicsburg Kung Fu all because I got to punch something once at a women's self defense class. One year later I have calves of steel, an over abundance of self-confidence, and my own set of nunchaku. The instructors are amazing and the classes are deliciously challenging. The other students are really helpful, awesome people of varied genders, ages, and body shapes -- all of whom can literally kick butt! I never imagined myself picking up a martial

High quality martial arts school which teaches Kung Fu and Tai Chi. Brian Lahr has a great lineage of instructors who passed generations of their knowledge down to him. Very good childrens' program and suitable for adults (young and strong), and higher mileage adults, like me, who want movement, balance and stretching while learning martial application.

An excellent martial arts school for all ages. Xian Sheng Lahr (Brian) is incredibly passionate about his program and personally teaches each class. He is teaching both the discipline of the art as well as the responsibility of using martial arts. After previewing several other schools in the area we found Mechanicsburg Kung Fu Center to be the absolute best!
