Botox Cosmetic is a highly purified, naturally occurring protein which has the ability to very precisely relax the muscles to which it is applied.
Med Spa of Virginia Total Wellness Center offers two laser techniques for Enhanced Skin Rejuvenation: the Lumenis M22 IPL and the Lumenis M22 ResurFX. The IPL module utilizes SapphireCool Light Guides to provide continuous cooling to maximize patient comfort during the procedure. I can vary where I get my botox done based on running specials, but there is NO WHERE in the Charlottesville area that can match the price at Med Spa. At $10 a unit during the first weekend of every month, it's a steal considering the upcharge at other places and it's not even a doctor, but rather a "trained" professional doing the injecting. I highly recommend the Med Spa for anyone searching for the best price and highest educational level combination. They actually offer a lot of services here, but I can only speak on the botox, which I'm quite pleased with.

3 month wait time to get my hair done to use a gift card. Gift cards have an expiration of 2 years- NOT STATED ON THE GIFT CARD. When they refused my $150 gift card (after I was told it was still valid in July), she expected me to pay a deposit for a future appointment since I did not want it to cost me anything at this visit. NOT GOING BACK!

Upon entry, the spa is decorated tastefully. The receptionist was not overly friendly, but suffice. The massage itself was good, not great. I was left with a lot of shoulder pain. I suppose that it is par for the course since it was my first time. The only turnoff and I am big on cleanliness was the stalls in the restroom. First of all, it was a unisex restroom. Yikes! And dirty. I wasn't expecting that from such a nice looking place on the outside. I couldn't believe it and took pictures.
