Services
Powell Wellness Center (PWC) is a medically-integrated health and wellness center located in Culpeper, VA. It is one of only two Medical Fitness Association (MFA) certified facilities in the state. PWC offers a diverse array of health, fitness, and wellness classes and programs. As an MFA certified facility, members can be assured that our staff have the education and credentials needed to provide a high quality fitness experience.
Our exercise area is designed to provide each member with a safe and functional workout experience. Exercise specialists are available during all operating hours to help members exercise safely and effectively. The cardiovascular area offers various equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, upright and recumbent bikes, stair climbers, and rowers for a variety of cardiovascular and functional exercises.
The Medical Advisory Committee provides program oversight to ensure the safety of participants and the provision of medically sound fitness programming at Powell Wellness Center. The Medical Advisory Committee is comprised of respected local health care professionals from various specialties who volunteer their time and expertise.
Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for that entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event. If the event is cancelled due to weather, credits and gift cards for the value of registration will be issued.
At Powell Wellness Center (PWC) we offer a variety of membership types to serve individuals, couples, and families, all with no annual contract. Membership options give you the variety and flexibility you need to make PWC a part of your daily life in support of your health and wellness efforts. Your membership includes an initial fitness assessment upon enrollment and an annual fitness assessment each year.

Had several P.T. sessions at Powell Wellness following hip replacement surgery. Jackson was outstanding.
He carefully listened and provided an exercise program that I followed while at PW and at home. He observed carefully and provided instruction as I worked out. Have been to another nearby rehab facility where the level of attention left much to be desired. Also had Daniel for 1 session at PW. He too was top notch.

Powell wellness has just terminated 3 people I know, one of which is family, for refusing to conform to the covid vaccine mandate. They were terminated Sept. 30th 2021 with no notice before-hand that accomodations would not be made for them to continue employment. Blatant disrespect to the employees who dedicated their time to be a part of this business and dropping them over 'insubordination'.

Excellent and friendly staff ready to assist with any questions. Personal training available and classes are geared towards people of all ages and medical conditions. The pool is amazing and great for exercise and therapy as well. I must say the hot tub is a welcome feature. Don't forget to grab a delicious smoothie on your way out!
