Passing thru on an east coast trip. Campground is nestled in a nice setting. Having said that here are the cons. We were placed in a field with four other RVs as it is approaching offseason. We were close to the pool which has restroom facilities and showers. The brochure states restrooms are open 24 hours they failed to mention except for the pool showers and restrooms. This necessitated us driving the car about 1500 to 2,000 ft to go to the restroom on the other side where the residential campers are located. The restrooms were okay the showers had black mold and they definitely needed an upgrade

Awesome place. Very nice campgrounds. Owners were very nice. We met very nice people while we stayed there. There's a bar on the grounds. A really nice play ground for the kids. And yes the Mosquitoes were bad but only bc of a bad season. It rain most of the summer and very humid. We made reservations for next labor day. Cant wait to go back.!!

Although there were activities for the kids and an awesome pool we were unable to enjoy much of this Campground due to the insane amount of mosquitos. When the wind did pick up a little and shoo the pesky bugs away you were overwhelmed with the smell of sewage. These complaints may seem trivial but they are all also easily remedied. The grass was overgrown, cutting it would have helped with the bug issue and addressing obvious sewer issues would make everyone’s stay bearable. In talking with fellow campers, who have stayed before at this campground, the conditions we experienced were the norm

Well we spent our first weekend here. And honestly I have to say… for $60/night, that’s a high price for not much to do. Fish in a shallow sea weed infested pond. No matter what time of day, you become food for the vampire mosquitoes that are there! I could not use enough bug spray. My wife got tore up by the mosquitoes through her jeans and sweatshirt. The staff should hire someone to spray for those annoying bugs, so that you might be able to enjoy some outdoor activities. Now we have stayed at other locations next to a river and wooded area, that had minimal bugs. I’d think twice about

When we made the reservation, we asked for a shaded site. When we arrived, we were given a site in the middle of a sun field. We went back to the desk and she was able to move us to a partially shaded site. However, the site was so overrun with mosquitoes we had to buy an $8 bug bomb just to get through the evening. Disappointed to see them still mowing all the fields on Friday afternoon when people were arriving for the weekend. The guy mowing, stopped briefly - not to welcome us - to yell at us for apparently going over the 5 mph speed limit. Not a good start. After the second mosquito-filled

The sites are pretty close together, however, there was plenty of open space behind and in front of our RV. The park itself is very nice, open, green, etc. The mosquitos were horrendous! Pretty high priced also. If you need to stay in the area, I would recommend this campground, but be sure to bring mosquito bombs and spray.

Cheap. Was probably nice years ago but nothing looks maintained. Listened to drunk domestic fight to sites over. Looks like it was once a family place but now is older drunks. The rec center is now a dirty bar serving cheap beer to old guys watching sports on cheap TVs. The pond is really a flooded drainage ditch.

We were told the pool was going to be open for the weekend we were camping when I made our reservation - we checked in & were told the pool is closed. Our campsites (we had 2) continuous ly smelled of sewer the whole time we were there. The grass was not mowed. Would not recommend this campground to anyone!!!!

We stayed here in Mid-Late June 2021 while in the area for a bass fishing tournament split between Cayuga and Skeneatles...
The Good:
Lots of space for kids to run around in open grass areas.
Pancake breakfast on Sunday morning was good.
We used this as a test run of camper life before buying a camper (rented one on site). iT was an older camper but everything worked minus the ac could not keep up with the high temps in the afternoon.
The Bad:
1.All the reviews about the old man yelling at people to slow down are accurate. I was driving watching my digital dash say 5 mph and watched him come
