If I could give zero stars I would
Worst plumber I have ever dealt with.
Showed up spent about 2 minutes looking at pipes
Told us the office would call
THey called asked if we were going to do the work we asked about the estimate. “Plumber told us office would call with one”. They told us plumber was supposed to give it to us
So we went ahead told them to come do the work. Scheduled it for the next day. He wouldn’t do it while he was there

Called about 8: 30 am because website said same day 1 hour service, talked to someone who said he will contact a plumber near me "Chicago land area" no one called me back , after about 3 hours I called the same phone number back and left a message. 12 hours later I still haven't been contacted back. This guy sucks. don't bother calling them. Zero Stars.

Beware! this Company is not licensed nor insured. This has been confirmed by IDPH (Illinois Department of Public Health), who overses and regulates Plumbing Companies in IL.
We had hired A Plumber in 1 Hour Company to unclog our kitchen drain pipe. It was the first time we had done this.
During the process, it appears that a connecting PVC piece that is part of the drain, was cracked by the hard impact of the blades/cutter.
After a few months, we started noticing a damp smell in the basement (which is finished), when I noticed the ceiling was bowing in our pantry

Update: A plumber contacted us today to see if we still wanted service. We did, as we're renting our home out and needed work done before the 1st. The plumber came out, gave an estimate and did the work the same day. He actually saved us money by repairing an item that we thought we'd have to replace.
A Plumber in 1 Hour replied to my request on Amazon for an estimate to replace faucets and repair a leaking sink. They advised that they needed to come out to provide an estimate. The company provided two appointment windows for service. My husband agreed to a a 3pm - 5pm slot.

I have used this company actually a few times and felt like i should finally put a review up.. The first time i used there service was back in 2013 for a faucet leak, thankfully it was no big deal and they were in and out in 25 min. Then again in 2015 i had a sump pump go bad on me and had no idea what i was getting myself into. The plumber that time was awesome and got the exact pump i wanted, he was trying to save me $ and had told me to get a cheaper model but i know what i wanted. These guys are great. First off, they actually answer the phone when you call. If they happen to miss my call, they call back immediately. That says alot to me as a small business owner myself. They are honest, efficient, courteous and friendly. Best of all, they do great work. John replaced three toilets at our office today and even took care of a small item without previous notice.

This Company was very professional, flexible with There times, and reasonably priced considering they fixed my issue on a Sunday without charging me anything extra. I just installed new carpeting and The plumber took off his shoes before entering my home (nice touch!), quickly diagnosed the issue, and fixed it just as quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again!

I went with this company because the rates sounded reasonable $165 for the first hour, $85/hr after the first hour.
The plumber they sent to me (Gary) was kinda slow and unsure of what he was doing. It was a waste of my time. All I needed done was a kitchen faucet installed, drained pipes assembled, and dishwashing tube replaced.
This guy told me over the phone that its no problem he can fix it in about 2-3hours. When he got there he spent the first hour trying to figure out the dishwasher..then he said he couldn't do it. He had to call an appliance guy to fix it. Then i paid him $165

Today i made the mistake of putting too many potato peels down the disposal. we had a problem. on top of it, today also happens to be thanksgiving. i thought i'd ruined the day and didn't know if anyone would be able to fix this on a holiday. i called 'A Plumber in 1-Hour' and in less than 15 min., Gary called me back. He was at my house 30 min. later. He was so friendly and fixed the issue (plus corrected a lousy/leaky disposal install that might landlord had done). it's now 2 hours after i peeled potatoes and we're back in business! highly recommend them.

I needed a plumber to repair a toilet tank that was loudly leaking into the bowl. Glossing over the details, it wasn't an emergency, but my toilet tank was very vocal at about 30-second intervals by the time I finally got around to looking up a Chicago plumber. Again, not an emergency, but the sound--and after a while, the anticipation of the sound--was akin to Chinese water torture.

I had a nonfunctional bathroom in a one-bath 2 bedroom apartment due to a clogged drain (tenant may have flushed something other than toilet paper, which can cause this to happen).
