Being parents is sometimes hectic, and now me and my husband understand it's ok to ask for professional help. Instead of putting the relationship between you and your children at risk, you might want to try some counseling. Sheila Steinhof an amazing woman, who helped our family to deal with major problems.
Learning disabilities can affect a person at any age. They are neurological problem that affects the ability to process information, which can interfere with learning basic skills such as reading, writing and/or math. They can also interfere with higher level skills such as organization, time management, abstract reasoning, long or short-term memory, and attention.
Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) is a neurological disorder that affects an individual's ability to focus on tasks. Many people associate ADHD with words like "hyperactive" or "out of control." However, there are actually three types of ADHD, and one of them does not include symptoms of impulsive and hyperactive behavior.
Psychoeducational testing (also referred to as assessments or evaluations) refers to the psychological tests used to analyze the mental processes underlying you or your child's performance that affect educational success. The tests are used to diagnose Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and/or Autism/Asperger's Disorders and to determine appropriate accommodations/interventions in school or at work.

I'm not very big on posting reviews but this really deserves it. I was refereed to Sheila by a friend for my son he was doing bad in school not understanding the lessons given by the teacher. Sheila evaluated him to make a long story short he had a disability . She gave me a report that I took to the school and with her help got him extra time for his exams 1 on 1 help in class. special teaching programs I didn't even know existed. I'm truly Great full. What i'm trying to say if you have a kid who isn't doing well in school go see her and thank me later.

Since the day I was introduced to Sheila it was nothing but positivity and the best motivation one can have, after graduating high school with the mindset that school isn't for me Sheila truly helped me see that it doesn't matter what disability you have as long as you keep pushing you will strive for success (look at me now I'm a junior in college) she helped me get past the negative people even if it meant to fight for my rights she's truly the best and the best blessing thank you so much Sheila for all your help evaluating me and getting me accommodations in college, supporting me throughout
