Applied kinesiology is a form of muscle strength testing used to help reveal functional imbalances throughout the body. Our bodies have many different systems (joints, muscles, organs, tissues, etc) that have individual roles, yet have to all function together as a whole in order for health to be achieved. Breakdown in even a single muscle or joint can cause problems throughout the body, often with pain being a poor indicator of the actual dysfunctional part.
