NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) is an assessment and treatment technique to correct learned movements which cause muscle dysfunction and pain. Created by David Weinstock in the mid- 1980's, NKT works to relieve pain by restoring balance between muscles that may have "shut down" as a protective mechanism following injury and others that overwork to compensate.

Dr Gessay saved my life! He was the 4th chiropractor I saw when my back / neck went out. Even though I had become mobilized, I knew something was very wrong. I had fallen into a severe depression , I was exhausted all the time, unable to work or live my life. Dr Gessay was the first Dr to take imaging of my spine. There he saw that my cervical spine was still out at the axis, which was putting pressure on the main artery & impinging blood flow to my brain. At the time of the adjustment, I felt the blood rush into my head. The depression disappeared and my life returned to normal. I

As a life long runner, I was devastated when a dancing injury sidelined me (seemingly) indefinitely. After years of seeing different PTs and chiropractors and giving up on running, I tested the waters only to be met with a whole new slough of issues (because that's what happens when you turn 30 I guess). Now not only was my knee bothering me but my hip felt decidedly out of alignment -- and that's putting it lightly. So I hail mary-ed it and went to see Dr. Gessay to see if for some reason he might be able to help... and spoiler alert: He did. I'm running again. I could cry. Ryan

I do not think chiropractic can get any better than the level of expertise you receive from Dr. Gessay. He has such a great combination of intelligence to know how to diagnose your issues and hand/manipulation skills to translate that into results. He listens intently to your main concerns and carefully crafts a treatment plan around YOU and your specific list of problems. He is honest and his goal is to get you as efficiently as possible to a point in which you can simply come in for periodic maintenance visits. In that way, he is very conservative and it's clear that he has your best

I've had the opportunity to become a client of Tune Chiropractic and I have never in my life had a more wonderful experience in every way! From Margarita who greats you to Dr. Ryan who leaves you feeling better with every visit the over all experience is top notch! I can post a long review but I'll keep it simple. First I appreciate it when someone really cares about the results of his patients and takes time to get to know them. I am never rushed through a treatment as Dr. Guessay always takes his time and makes sure to address my concerns.
After only a few treatments some of my symptoms are completely gone. I look forward to my treatments and appreciate that he is also a really nice guy.

I truly can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Gessay has been in caring for me and my injuries. I had a chronic low back issue for years that Ryan was able to help resolve and get me up and running again. He has also supported me through a car accident injury. I wouldn't be in the shape I am in today without Dr. Gessay's Care.

I use to stuffer from chronic lower back pains from being involved in the wedding business and I tried everything to cope with the pain. After finally listening to my wife, I decided to give Dr. Gessay a try after reading the other reviews on yelp. With Dr. Gessay's personal attention an practical healing approach I feel like I have seen a dramatic improvement in the quality of my health.
Dr. Gessay and his staff are always friendly and understanding of whatever curve balls my body sends their way.

I can't recommend Tune enough! I've battled lower back pain for the better part of 15 years now. Seen more chiropractors and had consistent care more than I'd like to admit with absolutely NO results. I thought this pain was something I'd have to live with forever. After consistent care with Dr. Gessay I have not had a single episode with my lower back. It's been 7 months of pain free living!!! Thanks, Dr. Gessay!!!

My OB referred me to Tune Chiropractic to align my hips to help with birth. Unfortunately, my little one decided to make her arrival before my appointment and labor left me with increased hip pain.
A month later, alone with a newborn in tow, I came to the office. Turns out, one of my hips was out of whack making one leg longer than the other. Ryan was able to do the bulk of the adjustment during my first visit while his assistant kindly held my squawking newborn and most of the rest in the second. I believe with one or two more visits I will be 100%.

I can't recommend Tune Chiropractic enough for any of your chiropractic needs. I had some neck issues that were causing dizziness, blurred vision, and headaches and I can't believe how much Ryan helped me. The atmosphere at Tune was beyond compare for any medical office. Ryan spent so much time talking to me and figuring out what was going on and then finding other impairments that may be contributing to my injury. I have absolutely no hesitation sending any friend and family member to Ryan because I know they are in amazing hands.

I started going to to Tune in my 5th month of pregnancy. I had never been to a chiropractor before but my husband has. I was dealing with severe back pain and hip pain. I was barely able yo sleep 2 hours before waking up painful and in tears. Dr. Gessay was awesome. He doesn't do the same thing for everyone, he details a plan for your specific issues and even stretches you out. I started feeling better after the first day and I kept going for the next few weeks to months. He made me pain free! My last pregnancy I suffered through it and barely got by on a few hours of painful hip pain sleep

I have battled neck and lower back problems my whole adult life, frequently making me feel like I should have a senior citizen discount at most establishments. After moving to San Diego almost 2 years ago I have struggled to find a chiropractor that "gets it". I keep running into those who want to set up a long-term, 3x/week treatment plan that COSTS A LOT OF MONEY and doesn't bring relief quickly.

I originally went to see Dr. Gessay for a pinched muscle in my neck. He was of course able to solve that issue very rapidly but he did something MUCH MORE amazing. In the normal course of my first visit he asked if I had any other ailments I wanted to address. I almost did not bring it up because the issue has been with me for so many years. I have learned to live with the fact that I have both golfers & tennis elbow in both elbows. I have visited numerous chiropractors, Physical Therapists and orthopedic surgeons over the years. After a 15hr flight my back was completely out and it was Friday before Christmas. I looked on Yelp for the closest Chiropractor and bc of the phenomenal reviews Tune was the first place I called.
What followed has been a perfect client experience from start to finish.
Ryan answered the call and although he was completely booked up on Friday and Saturday he offered to come in an hour early on Saturday morning to fit me in.
I am 36, incredibly active ex professional athlete that has had 7 knee surgeries and have seen my fair share

Dr. Gessay is magical! I'm a yoga and barre teacher, and also wait tables a couple nights a week. With all that activity, my shoulder decided to become not so happy.
My friend Heidi Schubert recommended I go see Ryan, and I'm so glad I did!
A little bit of rest on my part and only 3 office visits at Tune and I'm back to normal!!
Ryan educates you about the adjustments he's giving, and genuinely wants to to feel better in the shortest amount of time possible.

TREATMENT: Ryan is an extremely talented chiropractor that has melded some eastern medicine, ART, and other goodies into his practice. I've been to 6 chiropractors in my life, most of which I visited for months on end. None have even come close to the care I get from Ryan.
As someone else mentioned, his bedside mannor is simply the best. He tells you what's happening with your body and why he's doing the treatment he's doing (assuming you want to know as I always do).
Though I didn't expect it, he noticed some points on my skull that indicated
