Dr Mathew and all the staff are always so polite, professional, and helpful. After being there for a few years, I just had to have a tooth pulled and implant put in which I was nervous about. Dr Mathew made the experience be the best he could which was well beyond my expectations going into the appointment. I would highly recommend Dr Mathew to anyone looking to switch dentists.

This is the best dental office I’ve ever been in. From my first visit I knew that I’m in good hands. Highly professional. Super clean and organized. So easy to work with. They take care of all of the insurance paperwork. They’ve now become our family dentist office. Dr Paul, Samantha & Jill are a delight to work with, as are the rest of their incredibly professional team. Never felt so good and so much at ease. Very caring and personable, addresses all your concerns and answers all of your questions with clarity and knowledge.

I have always had a fear of going to the dentist, I have had HORRIBLE experiences in the past with other Dental offices. I have been going to Paul Mathew for about 2 years now and I can finally say I no longer get anxious going to the dentist. The entire staff is extremely nice and thoughtful. I want to give special thanks to Samantha and Dr. Mathews. I tend to get sensitive spots on my teeth and when they are found by Samantha she only touches it once and then it is fixed perfectly by Dr. Mathew with no pain!!! Beyond impressed with this office and I don’t think I will ever switch dentists again

I had terrible dentist experiences as a child and I’ve had dental anxiety ever since. On a scale of 1-10 my anxiety/fear was 100. This fear made me neglect routine visits and I’m embarrassed to say I went years and years with no visits. It finally got to the point I couldn’t avoid it any longer. This place is truly amazing. It took everything I had to make the first appointment. They told me that was the hardest part; I didn’t believe them at the time but in retrospect they were so right. They are so incredibly patient and ensure you have no anxiety and no pain. That truly is their #1 priority

I had terrible experience as a young kid with Dentists and because of it I neglected my dental care. Now at 53 years old I broke a tooth and could no longer avoid getting help. I needed a root canal, filling and a crown.
Dr. Mathew is fantastic as is Jamie and the rest of his Staff. Tell you step by step what they're doing and check often to make sure you are doing well. Not only does my tooth feel better my dentist phobia is gone. I highly recommend Dr Mathew.

One of the best dental offices in the northeast. Highly skilled and brilliant dentist, very competent and friendly staff, meticulous cleaning, the latest modern equipment (they have their own huge x-ray room and lasers), efficient billing (no problems with insurance), and most of all, painless procedures (sedation options). If you want to have a combination of use (perfect bite) and aesthetics (cosmetic dentistry), then this clinic is for you.

Have been going to this practice for several years now and have never had a problem. I've had extensive work done including extractions and root canals. Should be known that I am a huge weenie when it comes to the Dentist and I feel so at home there. They are accommodating enough to even let my baby sit in my arms while getting a cleaning. I've recommended them to a few people who have all had great experiences as well!

I have been coming to Artisan for over 7 years. Great staff! Dr. Mathews is very attentive, friendly and professional. I had several issues with my teeth prior to finding Artisan through to misdiagnosis at another practice. Dr. Mathews set up a care plan that rectified the issues I had. It was all taken care of in a timely manner and my out of pocket expense was affordable.
Samantha has been the same hygienist to clean my teeth for the entire time I have been a patient. It's nice to come to a place with friendly faces!

I am very happy with Dr. Matthew and the hygienists at Artisan Dentistry. I have always been treated with respect and made to feel very comfortable. In the past, I had a bad experience with my old dentist and was very nervous to find a new one when I moved to Salem. I had been referred to Artisan Dentistry by a friend was very happy and relieved to find a great dentist and team in the area. As someone who does not have dental insurance it can be a little pricey but they do a great job and you certainly pay for quality.

First visit he told me a needed a full mouth scaling at over $1000.00 which would take anhour to be done by the hygenist. I declined , I was very uncomfortable with the way things are done in the office. Went to another dentist for a second opinion was assured I only needed scaling on my back teeth. Price under $200.00. Watch out...he is a MONEY GRUBBING dentist.

I found Dr. Mathew through a friend's recommendation; she has been going to the Salem office for a few years now. I am now a regular patient of Dr. Mathew. My experience at his office is always pleasant and I find all his staff members to be professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Mathew. In the next few months I plan to get veneers and I couldn't imagine trusting any other dentist then Dr. Mathew with my case.

I have been going to the same dentist for years, but I recently moved to Salem and the drive was just too long. I have excellent luck with my teeth and have only had 2 cavities ever. I also brush twice a day with a Sonicare, so they are very well taken care of. I do, however, have coffee stains on my molars that are pretty dark, but my dentist always assured me they were only stains
