Dr. Jennifer Trathen is a 1997 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry located in Indianapolis, Indiana with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. At the School of Dentistry she received training in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics with emphasis on cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
According to research conducted by the American Cancer Society, more than 30,000 cases of oral cancer are diagnosed each year. More than 7,000 of these cases result in the death of the patient. The good news is that oral cancer can easily be diagnosed with an annual oral cancer exam, and effectively treated when caught in its earliest stages.
Periodontal disease is a progressive condition which leads to gum inflammation, the recession of bone and gum tissue, and tooth loss if left untreated. There are a variety of effective treatments and procedures available, including pocket irrigation, which can assist in treating the progression of the disease.

Had a temporary cap put on on a Thursday morning. When I ate my dinner that night it came off. I knew the office was not open on Friday so I called the emergency number. Dr. Called me back personally. Met me at the closed office on Friday. Made me a whole new temporary cap and reinstalled it! Awesome service. The hygienist Is awesome too. By the way, I hate the dentist!!!!😀

I personally have my teeth cleanings here every 3 months. I absolutely love this office, I love that I always see the same staff, Katie is Great, Important for me their is no up sale 's like other dental office's that always try to sell me something,, Lilian the Dental Hygienist is caring, not selling me tooth brushes, rinses, products etc ; Dr.Trathen (the dentist) is awesome values patient's time, ethical no up charges on insurance abides by my contracted fee, and does quality work. If you are looking for a experienced dentist that values your time, I personally recommend her and trust her with

If you agree with this dentist not sure what to charge you until they see what the insurance picks up and then continually change their quotes it is the place for you...I would never conduct business this way nor recommend them to anyone. Took over a year for them to "say" they could do a standard cleaning for my friend and never followed through . Lee Dental was affordable and accommodating for her. Took immediate and great care of her. Procedures should be the same across the board not dependent on what they clear after the customers coverage, shameful
