Services
Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties. We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs.
It is the mission of Weber Human Services to provide high quality, accessible, cost effective human services to the residents of Weber and Morgan Counties. Our workforce will strive to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve and promote cultural awareness. We will involve residents in government by encouraging them to be our partners in the community.
The term "evidence-based practices" refers to specific types of behavioral health therapy that have been shown in research settings to be more effective in reducing specific mental illnesses and substance use disorders over traditional approaches to therapy. Weber Human Services has advanced the use of these research-based treatments throughout the agency, ensuring that clients have access to the most effective treatments available.
At Weber Human Services the Volunteer Services Department is passionate about attracting and connecting with great volunteer experiences. We recruit highly qualified volunteers and make it easy to contribute time and assistance. Check out the different volunteer opportunities and contact us by submitting your application.
WHS is recognized as a state-wide leader in the delivery of effective, cost-efficient behavioral health services. The organizational emphasis on clinical quality affords counselors the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, learning, environment. Career development, specialized training in evidence-based practices, and tight-knit clinical teams help generate enthusiasm and passion for the work.

Garso, Daemon APRN: says All Tic diagnosis is based on TikTok videos. Gave my ex husband & the stepmother an article based on his opinion. He wasn't at the ER in Riverton or was my daughter's primary care physician who watched the 4 videos on my phone of the night with her tics. This is why APRN get to write scripts but not give medical attention to patients. I will be reaching out to the State of Utah for him to lose his license or at least get reprimanded. If you have never seen them since August when they were accuring, you have no where to give an opinion when her own father didn't care.

My experience with their therapists have been awesome but other than that my experience with the steps program and the group homes that they put you in and Shawna and Shelly have been nothing but hell so they're very discriminatory and very fake they do not let you know anything really and so so far my experience with remaining services and then wanting to really help people has been nothing but a joke

If you can get a therapist that doesn't cancel at the last minute all the time they are pretty good. Since they stopped taking crisis calls (thanks new laws that don't help anyone) this place has gone downhill. It wasn't excellent to begin with.
DBT is offered only for adults.
Child section gets a 1 star. They are horrible. Threaten DCFS to the kids they are supposed to help, one counselor hit my son in the face.

I work at an assisted living in Ogden and I have had the pleasure of working with Weber human services and their new choice waiver program. Laura, Angie, Ginny, Sam, and Cindy are absolutely amazing and so incredibly helpful. I know that if I need something for one of our shared clients they are going to get it done. They really do help make my job easier and I know I can always count on them for anything!

I decided to give this place a try. Hoping for a change. But instead they gave me the run around. REFUSED to help me. The therapist here were never understanding. They always acted like they had other things to do than to help me. They just judged and never listened to me. I was asking for help but all I got was NO HELP in return. Places like this make me sick. They just want money they don't want to help anyone. They just toss you aside and make you feel like you are TOO BROKEN TO FIX OR TREAT. NOT COOL! nobody could get help from this place when they won't even listen and keep you with a therapist
