Services
Ballet: 16 levels designed specifically for children & teens (Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus). Stars on 9 Dance Center offers creative Dance and Theatre Arts programs for the recreational and the vocational non-competitive student. 1. Dance keeps both the body and brain active, vital for people of every age.
To assure a "simple and easy" feeling for students in class, we have always recommended a basic dress code for classes. This not only gives students more confidence (keeping learning a priority) but also helps prevent a negative competitive "fashion-show" status. Parents/Guardians PREFER and APPRECIATE a dress code.
Stars on 9 Dance Center is always taking photographs (and with two photographers on staff who are also instructors, we take some really good ones)! We photograph class portraits and recitals especially so you can see our students' moves and their costumes. We also photograph some classes, as well as our offices, studio, and staff.
Stars on 9 Dance Center has been privileged to work with a diverse group of students each year and each of them develops personal connections with our staff. Many of them have provided positive feedback about their experience at our studio-not just students but sponsors, teachers, program directors, charity coordinators, and more.

UDPATE: Just discovered that Stars on 9 offers a chance for Adults to play as well. Adult tap and jazz/hip-hop. Great fun .Stars on 9 is such a great place for your child to begin a dance journey. Everything is taught with so much joy they will barely notice they are learning.

My girls have been dancing at Stars on 9 for several years now. We love it there! We had tried multiple dance studios but none of them felt right until we found Stars on 9. My girls love to go to dance class every week. My 2 year old has been begging to go to dance for almost a year now and is so excited to be able to attend this year. I was inspired to become an educator myself because I experienced the passion, knowledge and commitment to excellence that Janet poured lovingly into EVERY student. I went here for about 7 months. The pressure that the owners put on me was terrible they tried to get me to join all the classes despite me saying i didnt want to, my friend did it with me for a bit and eventually her parents couldnt pay for it because of how expensive it was and the dance teacher begged me and manipulated me to get her back. My anxiety was so high during my time at this place. If you dont have a lot of money or are easily manipulated please DO NOT go here.

Miss janet ,Miss Cathy and Miss sue are so amazing with all of the children .I have to say their love for dance really shows ... I was one of the lucky kids to have grown up alongside Ms. Janet, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Sue and all the amazing teachers we had back here in New Jersey! Being apart of such a warm and welcoming dance community was where I grew as a person. I would not be the confident, independent, and determined woman that I am today without the help of these amazing role models.
