The Colonial Point Condominium community is located on the south bank of the St. Johns River, just minutes from Jacksonville's vibrant downtown business and entertainment center and less than 2.5 miles from our city's exciting sports complex. Our beautifully landscaped property, built in 1971, consists of 302 spacious condominium units, with a wide variety of types and sizes.

There are 260 single level units with one, two, or three bedrooms and 42 two-bedroom town homes. The purpose of this website is to provide information to our owners, residents and to all who would like to know more about our community. We hope that the information found here will be helpful to you.
Services
The Colonial Point Condominium Association operates through the generous assistance of its five person Board of Directors. These individuals are volunteers, and receive absolutely no compensation for their efforts. Directors serve one year terms beginning on the date of the Association's annual meeting.
There is no assigned parking, you will need to register your vehicles with management and receive a parking decal. This decal must be displayed on driver's side of the front wind shied. We ask that residents use common courtesy when parking. Allow for neighbor to park at least one vehicle in front of their building.
This is a game of chance in which randomly selected numbers match on a scorecard with 5 squares across, down or diagonally. Five in a row wins! The letters B, I, N, G, O are printed above the five vertical columns, with one letter appearing above each column. The center space is marked "Free."

Each row must be randomly assigned 5 numbers with these specifications: 1 to 15 in the "B" column; 16 to 30 in the "I" column; 31 to 45 in the "N" column; 46 to 60 in the "G" column and 61 to 75 in the "O" column.Once the board(s) are constructed, a nonparticipating person calls out random numbers between 1 and 75.
Call the emergency response dispatch center, if you suspect that there is a real threat to person or property. If you need to report a disturbance of the peace, have evidence of a crime or suspect that there is criminal behavior of a non-emergency nature, please call the police. If you are expecting a visitor, please call and/or leave a message for our safety officer.

Pretty decent place especially if you want to go kayaking or get in the boat and explore I would definitely say some sides are nicer than others in this vicinity

Colonial Point is old. Needs upgrading, bad! The entrance is super weird. It is one way so be careful! The roads within the complex are horrible and need immediate attention! The complex should be ashamed!

This community is a well kept secret. HOWEVER, you MUST be weary of landlords that choose not to follow processes that should fall within the normal perspective of tenant to landlord agreements and community standards. If clarity is needed, I can validate with documentation. Overall, a superb residential community.

Perfect location. Nice hidden gem.
Condos are old but the property has character. Lots of units are being remodeled, which is increasing appreciation.

Great quiet place to live. Lots of older couples, younger adults, and a few families. Theres community events like holiday parties and Monday bingo. The premises is well-guarded, well-maintained, nice, and comfortable.

Not good for young people. Its is controlled by old people with old rules. They will fine you like they are the police but you don't get a court hearing. I hate it because of the grumpy old ladies with the barking chawauwas

Attractive layout. Clean. However, they could benefit by putting numbers on the buildings because all the buildings look pretty much alike. There are numbers on the condominium units, however.

It's a great neighborhood but wouldn't recommend using the laundry mat by the club house you will be lucky if everything washes and dryers fully
