Services
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is the largest membership organization for CFP professionals in the U.S. and is also open to non-CFP professionals who support the financial planning process. Working in alliance with academic leaders, legislative and regulatory bodies, financial services firms and consumer interest organizations, FPA helps connect all in our membership through a variety of unique and compelling ways.
FPA Advocacy seeks to advance and protect the Financial Planning profession by proactively building relationships with elected officials while offering ourselves as a resource to inform and educate. These policymakers vote on issues that impact our profession and CFP Professionals' ability to effectively serve clients, ultimately impacting the accessibility of quality financial planning that their constituents receive.
The Career Development Committee assists FPA members in the advancement of their career through continuing education as well as facilitates relationship between FPA members and students of the financial planning profession. The committee is also in charge of relations with CFP educational programs at local universities to help bridge the gap between education and practice of the profession.
The Strategic Partner team engages the current and future strategic partners to help maintain the funding that is so crucial for FPA's longevity. We will continue to value our strategic partners and make partnership desirable for an even greater number of strategic partners. We are currently looking for committee members to assist with securing and building relationships with strategic partners.
Our local chapter does not maintain the official membership database. Any updates to your contact information including your address, telephone numbers, and email address should be made through logging in at the FPA National site. The Financial Planning Association, a member driven organization, has approximately 30,000 CFP professionals, financial planners, specialists and organizations working together to advance the financial planning process.
