Legacy Dance Company was founded by Amanda Heine and Ciera Hensley. We both have a passion for teaching dance and turned our dream into a reality when we opened our studio. We want to create a positive environment for our dancers where they can shine and learn to love the art of dancing as much as we do!
Our mission is to bring dance to everyone! We hope to be accessible to children of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. We will teach youth about the art of dancing by teaching them the fundamentals at a young age and building them into strong, beautiful dancers. We have many classes for ages 2 and up.

Services
Amanda has been dancing since 1990 and teaching dance since 2006. I was born and raised in Prineville and am a graduate of Crook County High School and Central Oregon Community College. My mom put me in my first tap class when I was three years old and I never looked back. I took tap, ballet, and jazz classes, and my sophomore year of high school I was introduced to the world of competitive dance team.
These dancers train extra hours, attend summer camps and master classes, and compete statewide! Dancers in the Elite program can expect to attend their Elite Rehearsals, a Ballet Class, and a Technique Class weekly. Most Elite dancers take more than the minimum required classes. We also offer opportunities for solos, duets, and trios based on attendance, commitment, attitude, and work ethic.
