This a beautiful place, and the staff were very welcoming at first. Their downfall was not thoroughly explaining their packages to our family which caused confusion and frustration. When we voiced out complaints with the service the owner reacted in a very rude, and unprofessional manner instead of just accepting the feedback. That is not how you treat your customers, especially people who have just lost someone. We will not be returning.

I recently attended a wake at Russo’s, followed by a Catholic mass and burial, which were coordinated by Russo’s. Normally I wouldn’t think to leave a review for something like that, but I was so struck by the compassion and professionalism shown by the Russo’s team, that I had to say something. I’m sure the folks at Russo’s do countless funerals each year (spanning a wide array of religions and cultural backgrounds), but they truly made ours feel like it was the most important one they’d ever done. Russo Hillside Chapels is the funeral home we choose to lay our beloved grandmother to rest. The staff are very professional and very helpful. During a difficult experience we felt that they cared and oftentimes met our needs before we had thought to ask. They helped us with every detail of planning a funeral and guided us through steps we didn't think of.

Words cannot express the kindness and beauty Russo’s Hillside Chapels has. The moment you walk in it feels like your in Tuscany Italy with all the gorgeous decor and furniture. It is by far the classiest funeral home I’ve EVER been to. If you want to give your loved one a ceremony with dignity and grace, this is the ONLY place I recommend. Joey Russo (Owner) is a wonderful man. He is patient, soft spoken and versatile. This is the second time I have buried a family member out of Russo's, and everything was magnificent both times. Both family members looked impeccable and at peace for the viewings. Even though it's a business, we did not feel as though we were being price gouged. They took care of pretty much everything for us during these very difficult times. There is a kiosk friends and family members sign into, which will make sending thank you cards much easier. We got lots of compliments on the cleanliness and condition of the place. And, we were able to personalize everything to fit what our loved ones

The care and service provided by Russo funeral home was exceptional. The service conducted by Joe Russo made such a positive impact on our family and friends. Unfortunately we have attended a number of wakes and funerals and none of them even comes close to the experience we had with Russo a funeral home. If you have the unfortunate need for such services we highly recommend Russo funeral home.
