Have stayed in Julie's Friedlander home the last several years and service always professional and congenial. This year with the Coronavirus issue our family opted out of renting. Julie managed to reimburse us our down payment. Couldn't ask for more.

This concerns Raven's Roost. Stay away from this property. The house is OLD. We had a sink handle explode to the ceiling and the septic system backed up. That's always nice on vacation. Liddle did immediately come and address these issues, but upon asking the owner for a partial refund, we were denied. The steps leading to the dock are a disaster, and the dock itself is a sliver factory.In need of serious repair !!

We had a wonderful experience renting with Julie Liddle. The home was clean, included amazing amenities, was a perfect location & fit for our family, & we had a fantastic week. Julie was very friendly, knowledgeable & extremely easy to work with. I’d certainly recommend Julie Liddle’s Adirondack Vacation Rentals to anyone looking for a rental in the Old Forge area.

The propane tank on the grill ran out half way through the 2nd use and there was no back up tank, 2 out of 4 of the stove burners were not functioning, the cottage was incredibly dusty (and I don't normally notice dust) and the pillows were disgusting (drool marks and what I am pretty sure was blood on one of them), the teflon pans were extremely scratched. Those are only a few of the things wrong with the cottage we rented from Julie Liddle. When my mom called to speak with her, she left a voicemail and never heard back from her during the entire week we were there. We also have sent two emails

Feeling scammed. Very poor experience. Rented a house for $4000/week. Accused of damaging a door. They cashed our $500 security deposit the next business day. A month later they have done nothing to repair. Sent us a handwritten estimate of damages that her husband Scott drew up ($483) Have requested copies of receipts for materials purchased, they have not. Read my full review on YELP for Old Forge. You will find another reviewer there with similar poor experience. There are other options for renting in the ADK, or rent from the owner - DO NOT USE JULIE LIDDLE'S
