Grant Island is a little slice of heaven on Brantingham Lake which is located on the Southern border of the Adirondacks in New York State. It has approximately a 15 mile circumference and is home to a wide array of wildlife including the "Grant Island Creatures". Covid-19 put our 25th wedding anniversary in Sept 2021, "a planned" European trip on the back burner, so we opted to find a little hide-away in USA instead!
We found Grant Island Cottages in the Adirondacks, on its own peaceful island that came with an older pontoon boat to toot around the lake! John Paul was a great host and answered all our questions prior to finalizing our booking. It was a beautiful, rustic, and relaxing atmosphere we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a great time on Grant Island 7/10-7/17. The island was peaceful and the cottage comfortable and nostalgic. Our 2 pups enjoyed themselves exploring the island, spending time on the dock, and going for daily cruises on the lake.
John Paul was attentive to any needs we had. We look forward to visiting again!
