Dr. Carly Scharfenberg joined her father, Dr. Jerry, after graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She was born and raised in Elmhurst, and she now enjoys serving her hometown community with premier dental care. Dr. Carly is devoted to providing innovative dentistry to the entire family.
Our office provides sedation services for your comfort and convenience. At Scharfenberg Dental we offer oral sedation, and we utilize innovative needle-free Syrijet anesthetic technology-your comfort is our top priority. You'll feel relaxed and anxiety-free, so you can get the treatment you need without disrupting your life.

My dentist of 35years retired then the next week I broke a molar I knew I would need a crown my friend recommended Dr. Carly I was nervous because I am a big baby at the dentist and knew there would be a lot of drilling for crown. The office staff was so welcoming making me feel so comfortable right away. At my first crown appointment they offered… laughing gas to relax me gave me a warm blanket my choice of music with headphones continuously asked how I was doing the Novocain injections were painless as was the drilling. I am so happy to find a wonderful new dentist one I will go to for
