Throughout his training and practice, Dr. Jamieson developed an idea of how patients should be treated. During 2017, he began to contemplate the possibility of starting a private practice centered around optimal patient care. As this idea developed into a plan, he decided that this was the best way to help his patients.

At the Orthopedic Specialty Center of Northern California, we are committed to providing a frictionless experience for all our patients. We want our patients to feel like they are a part of our TOSC family. We strive to meet our patients needs as quickly and efficiently as possible. To provide a superior orthopedic experience in total joint replacement.
Services
Dr. Robert Jamieson is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and is fellowship trained in Total Joint Replacement focusing on the hip and knee. In 2014 he performed the first outpatient total joint replacement in all of northern California. This means that the patient had her knee replacement done in the morning and was recovering at home by that afternoon.
As I went through the MRI process, I had the opportunity to look at the images which I found really interesting. I ended up having a knee scope, which was videotaped. Following the surgery, the surgeon gave me a VHS copy of the procedure. I took it home, put it into the VCR, and began watching it. At that moment, I was hooked!
There is a wide array of medications that are available to aid in pain management as a non-surgical treatment. There are several medications prescribed to help in recovery postoperatively. Medications will be discussed during office visits to find the best fit for your needs. There are several different kinds of injections that help reduce pain in the hip.
At the Orthopedic Specialty Center of Northern California, we are fortunate to have long lasting relationships with many of our patients as we attend to their orthopedic needs. Read their stories below. Just 6 weeks after his total hip replacement, Jack is back on the river doing what he loves. 15 weeks after a total hip replacement, Dick hiked 9.2 miles up to Wheeler Peak (13,063 ft) in in Great Basin National Park.

Dr. Jamieson and his staff are awesome! They are very sincere and friendly while getting you thorough the surgery process. I cannot say enough great things about them. Dr. J, by replacing both of my hips, has relived me of a great deal of pain and given me my life back as I could barley walk when I had my hip pain. You will not be disappointed with this dr./staff.

Referred by my doctor to him for my mildly arthritic hip. After a long wait in a packed office, briefly was given some options and said that he didn't even do the basic hip surgery anymore and wanted to refer me to someone else. Was charged $325 for a 10 minute consultation that was completely useless.

Dr.Loidolt and his staff with TOSC are the most amazing healthcare professionals I have ever met. They show compassion, empathy and the most high-level of care I have ever experienced and I have been to many doctors. Taylor calls me about once a week to check in on me. She even called and made an appointment for me with the Pain Specialist and then called me back immediately with the info. Dr. Loidolt, and Dr. Jamieson actually sent me a signed sympathy card when my dog passed away recently. They knew how sad I was and took the time to show their kindness and understanding. I cannot express my

I'm not sure I can adequately convey the appreciation both my husband and I have for Dr. Jamieson and his team. The knowledge shared, the compassion and encouragement were nothing short of amazing. If we could give more than five stars we would.
