Was a good experience. My first online auction. I got a good deal. Items listed were accurate. Next time I will preview in person, I might have bid higher on a few items I didn't get. Item pickup was easy, people were nice.

Super easy to work with, had an issue with a lot that purchased (honest mistake, nobody's fault) and they fixed the issue promptly and without issue. 10/10 would recomend.

Never received shipping quote from before I bid on items. Continued to follow up with shipping quote even after auction ended. Initially told they were working on it. I waited a week more with no communication from them. Followed up and they were unsure if my item was still available. Pretty poor practice.

Purchased a surfboard from an Abamex online auction without inspecting it first. Surfboard was described as a Dewey Weber surfboard. Was NOT a Dewey Weber. AND IT WAS CRACKED DOWN THE MIDDLE, which they didn't bother to mention in the their listing, and the listing photo was grainy, which made it impossible to see any damage.

So, I spent a few hundred bucks for a 9 foot piece of garbage. And after pledging to "make it right", they did nothing, and have not returned phone calls.

When dealing with Abamex Auction, "BUYER BEWARE" definitely applies! Avoid!!
