Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence based model with an over 70% proven success rate. Over 90% of couples report their relationship was "significantly improved." EFT has over twenty five years of research demonstrating proven effectiveness. I offer psychotherapy, counseling for couples, families, and individuals.

I provide treatment for relationship problems, trauma, abuse, post-traumatic and other kinds of stress, anxiety, parenting, children's problematic behaviors, and low self-esteem. For couples who are on the brink of divorce, I offer Discernment Counseling to help you develop clarity and confidence in making the decision that is right for you and your family.
Services
I provide help by seeing the whole family in the room together and not assuming any one person is the cause of all the problems. I work collaboratively with families, building upon each person's strengths to find solutions to problems you want to address. Sometimes in the course of family therapy, it becomes apparent that couples therapy would help.
Therapy can Help. When you first fell in love, it was wonderful. You couldn't wait to see each other. You knew this was the right relationship, even if there were some things to be worked out. As time went on, perhaps with changes in the family, children, jobs, stresses of daily life, some of the spontaneity went out of the relationship.
Therapy can Help. Traumatic histories can be healed. Fears, worries, nightmares, lack of energy, jumping at noises, smells, and other trauma symptoms can be relieved with therapy. Children may show symptoms of inattentiveness, acting out, struggles with peers, argue more, talk back, or withdrawal. People from all walks of life can suffer trauma or abuse including domestic violence, other forms of violence, sexual abuse and rape.
I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and Supervisor. EFT is an evidence-based pratice for Couples and Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California, LC-23406. I received my Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University. I was trained in supporting military families and veterans returning from Iraq, Afghanistan, OEF OIF, GWOT and other conflicts.

Went to her off and on with my wife for a year. Usual "what do you think" questions without offering much guidance. Would always stir both of us and leave us with problems, said good bye and paid the $140 for the hour! Called her to reschedule and said could not see any longer since now seeing the wife. This was very strange and unethical, in my book. Men, watch out, she definitely is biased to women who she says are victimized by their husbands.
