Most people go to the gym but don't know what to do to achieve the results they want. Our personal training program will simplify the process so you can get the results you deserve! We will be with you every step of the way. You won't have to worry about what to do when you show up at our gym. You won't get lost in overcrowded classes or get burned out by bootcamp sessions.

Our team of personal trainers will guide you through every workout and make sure you're doing it right and not get hurt. Every time you step in the gym, you'll be with a fitness professional to guide you through the workout. I'm a 48-year old rookie to fitness and I'm intimidated by gyms. At First Capital Gym, they are great teachers, motivators, and everything you want in a coach.

Ryan opened First Capital Gym in York, PA is 2018. He has helped hundreds of adults and athletes achieve their fitness goals since 2004. Ryan, a former Marine, has built a great reputation based on his work ethic, character, loyalty to his clients, and dedication to improving himself as a coach. He is also well respected by local physical therapists and chiropractors in the area.

We understand that joining a gym can be stressful and intimidating. With our 6 Week Personal Training Experience, our team of personal trainers will guide you every step of the way.
At First Capital Gym, we use the kettlebell a lot because of its versatility and effectiveness. What's also great, is that unlike a dumbbell rack and bench that take up a lot of space, the kettlebell is small, which allows you to train anywhere, even at your house. You can also bring it outside or bring it with you on vacation.
The following ingredients are all after being individually chopped/or pulsed in food processor (preferred method.) After chopping/pulsing all above ingredients, combine by gently folding together. Add in cilantro, lime juice, and salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow all of the flavors to meld together.

I'm several months "into it." One-on-one with Ryan.
I'm coming off of a body-part replacement and a few more 'corrections' that my body got even with me for my decades of abuse.
How'd it go? I'm pleased.
How is FCG, Ryan, etal.? Professional. Proficient and Personal. It would be Perfect if I do my part.
How do I know if the time, investment and effort have been worth it?

Came in for month trial at First Capital Gym after a year of seeing my neighbor transform with massive gains, and am now fully committed. I wish I took before pics! I’m 42 years old, always have worked out and run, but never did HIIT and small group trainings. This is so motivating, and changes the whole day for me. Every day I have class, I find myself eating better which has been one of my main issues. This is a comprehensive work out that my body really needs!

I have worked with Ryan for two months and gained an immense amount of knowledge in regards to technique which has taken my training to another level. His expertise is top notch. I have not met anyone as knowledgeable in the years I have been using a personal trainer. The 1 1/2 hour travel time is completely worth it!

Being an out of shape, full time working mother was taking its toll on me both physically and mentally. Walking thru the doors was the hardest part - Amber, Ryan, Mike, and Angie have been excellent coaches, starting slow and steady and only pushing me when they see the correct technique. I signed up to be a member before I even finished the 6 week training course they offer! Everyone is friendly and the small group sessions make it easy to get the feedback, help, and encouragement that I did not find at a typical “big box” gym. I’m so glad I found this gym and I am excited to improve!!

I was always skeptical of joining a gym, but knew I needed some extra motivation and guidance. First Capital Gym has a 6 week personal training program that I highly recommend to anyone who is nervous about joining a gym. All of the trainers there make you feel welcome! They take their time explaining everything and are always encouraging.
