Southwest Family Physicians, Inc. (SWFP) is proud to have served the community for over 40 years! Our story begins in 1972 when we formed one of the first urgent care centers. Here we brought together physicians committed to excellence in medical care. We have continued to reside in this same convenient location adjacent to Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio providing the highest standard of health care.
Through the years we have seen the need for ancillary services and have since added radiology, cardiology, and laboratory testing. We feel that having these services right in our office has truly improved our efficiency in diagnosing and treating, as well as offered convenience for our patients. We are familiar with many of the medical specialists in the Cleveland, Ohio area, and work closely with them to deliver the best medical care.

The doctors and nurses here are AMAZING! They're incredibly attentive, and really get to know their patients. If I could leave a separate review for them I would. They deserve 5 stars, but unfortunately I cannot do that.
The office staff, however, is a way different story!! If I could give them negative stars I would. Every time I call they are INCREDIBLY rude, and they refuse to allow me to leave a message with my Doctor. At times they are downright mean! I have spoken to my doctor about this issue before and she has instructed me to say our doctor specifically told us to tell them to pus us

I've had Dr. Corrine Adler for a couple years as my doctor. She is so awesome! She talks to you like a normal person and not in terms you dont understand. She is really the best doctor I ever had! But I found out some sad news today 😪 I changed jobs and she is not part of my Insurance network! I am so bummed out about this! I will definitely try to find another doctor in the southwest family physicians

I’ve been seeing a doctor at this office for about 8 years and although she was wonderful the office staff is HORRENDOUS. They’re incredibly rude, can’t answer a single question you ask, and never follow through. I can’t count the number of times they didn’t send my refills in, never relayed a message to my doctor, or never got back to me. I love my doctor dearly but not enough to put up with the horrible office staff.

I had nurse Michele today. I am a new patient here, today was my first experience. And I will never forget it. I have never felt so comfortable talking to somebody about my bodily , or depression issues. It genuinely felt like I was talking to a friend but with an abundance of knowledge, she was beyond helpful and made this experience so smooth and comforting, we need more people like her in this field, hell in life ! She was amazing & I would recommend her to anybody. Truly made my day and I know i have found my forever place at southwest family physician! If I could give her 10 stars I would

Like my primary care doctor (only reason for 2 star) but he never seems to have many available office hours since the move to this location. Recently went in for a visit (after being told to follow-up with primary care doc by urgent care doc if not feeling better) only to be rushed out & "diagnosed" prior to actually speaking with or even completing the visit with 1 of the nurse practitioners. Looking for a new doctor asap.

The doctors and nurses seem alright; friendly enough, and there has only been one time that my wait was rather long. However the front desk staff are either overworked or extremely busy most of the time and the phone system is the worst. There is no option just to ask a general question so you just pick one, then wait on hold for awhile for the next available representative, then get returned to the recorded menu. I would be happy to just leave a message and have my call returned at their convenience but that doesn't seem to be an option. Making appointments by phone is just as bad. And if you

I see Dr. Karyn Abdallah and I love her. She listens to you and truly cares. I have been her patient for about 20 years. There are a couple of doctors here that I don't like. Just choose your dr carefully. Appointments are hard to make, they seem to be very busy. The business office I really don't care for. One person in particular is rude and uncaring. I have never seen a business office in the medical field be so heartless. Dr Abdallah used to have an office somewhere else and I loved everything about it. If Dr Karyn Abdallah left this practice so would I. There are a couple other good drs here

I have been a patient for over 10 years. My primary Dr is Dr. Bigelow. I find her to be very patient and kind. Every time I'm there, she has looked at my chart and knows what's going on before she walks into the room. Her nurse is also very sweet and knowledgeable. I would recommend them as a PCP and as a total practice.
