Bonus Transportation was founded in 1979 by the Boughan Family with four trucks and a passion for the industry. 41 years later we are still Family Owned and Operated and run over 90 Trucks and 250 Trailers with the same drive and commitment. We continually strive for excellence in everything that we do.

Marilyn recalls, "we were working so many hours for somebody else, we just decided that if we were going to put in all that time, we should be doing it for ourselves." The business began by leasing those trucks to Midwest Coast Transport out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In mid-1980 the Boughans increased their fleet size to 17 Mack tractors and moved into their first real facility in Apopka.
Our Reefer Division is dedicated to one of the United States Premier Food Producers with our company having over 24 years of continuous business together. Our Reefer Division has 100% no touch consistent freight, with loads running in the Southeast United States and the ability to be into the state of Florida weekly.

Been here a month now and im paid on time and more than just mile pay. The machanics are quick to get your truck in and will fix it within a very timely manner. I was driving 700 miles a day every week to make what I make here on a 450 mile a day week. My first truck wasnt very clean inside but i was excited to run so of course i ran but ended up trading it in for a newer intl prostar that they had in the yard. Not one person doubts you and you are treated with dignity as long as you are doing the right thing. There is a camera in my new truck but it only faces out and supposedly it doesnt record

Withholding a full review until i have a little more time on the job. 3 stars so far. First day was quick orientation and a dispatch of 290 miles into Georgia. Ive now sat since yesterday 05/29/18 2100 and will stay here until 1900 tonight where i will drive 283 miles back to florida and most likely sit again. We shall see if it picks up.
