John is the Owner of All-Star Realty Associates, which he established in 1997 after working at a number of Real Estate Agencies in the area. He has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since May of 1980 and has been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer annually since 1986 and is a member of the Spartanburg Board of Realtors as well as being licensed in South Carolina and North Carolina.
Our office handles a small number of Spartanburg Rentals. Please keep in mind that there is a great deal of FRAUD involved in Craigs List advertising - you do not want to send any monies to someone who states they are "out of state" or "out of the country" and does not show you the property or asks for money up front before they allow you to see it!
According to the 2010 Census, the County of Spartanburg had approximately 284,307 residents with an expected population growth of 2.3% per year and an estimated home ownership of 69.6%. Home of BMW and Milliken, there are many domestic and international business opportunities here, especially along the I-85 and I-26 corridor and inhanced now with an "In-Land Port" specifically designed to help with the authomotive industry.
Buyers won't just be looking at the physical structure of a home, they'll respond to how it makes them feel and they walk in and imagine themselves living there. You want the home to have emotional appeal. Here are some ideas (some quick fixes, some taking more labor and investment) for making YOUR home stand out from the competition.
Most folks do not have enough cash to outright purchase a home since it is normally the "biggest ticket" item they will buy during their lifetime. Therefore, you need to figure out how much you can allow for a house payment every month. If you are paying rent and are quite comfortable with that amount, then start at that figure.
