My name is Dr. Joseph P. Rolens, DPM. I am a Springfield native, a Sacred Heart- Griffin alumnus, graduated from Illinois College in Jacksonville, and earned my DPM from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. I am accepting new patients for any podiatric issues you may encounter. I provide routine nail and callus care, as well as more advanced care of various foot problems and treatment of foot wounds.

They told me on the phone "looks like your insurance does cover this, come on in!" So I drive all the way across town with gas at almost $4 a gallon, disrobe my feet, and he comes in. "Well it's not the shoe it's the insert" dude I can't find shoes that fit or support my feet, I have feet issues. "sorry, you're not diabetic so you can't have shoes that will literally prevent you from walking on the sides of your feet" whatever. Then he tells me that there's no guarantee that my insurance will pay, they can't pre-authorize it for some reason, never heard of anything not being able to be pre-authorized
