Services
Our main clinic is located on South Grand Avenue in Springfield, IL and has provided podiatric care to the community since 1958. In January of 1985, we became part of St. Francis Hospital's outpatient clinic in Litchfield, IL. Their outpatient specialty clinic gave us the opportunity to provide foot care to rural areas where podiatric care was not available.
We have two locations to serve you - in Springfield at 102 South Grand Avenue West, and in St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. We are proud to provide an office where patients feel welcome and taken care of. Our one-stop-shop has an x-ray facility on site for your convenience. Custom orthotics are casted and ordered on site.
Susie has been with our office for 9+ years. She is upbeat and personable and our patients love her. Hers is the first voice you will hear when calling the office and the first person you will see when entering the office. She's the best! Our Medical Assistant Robin has been with our office for two years.
If you are experiencing painful swelling in the back of your foot just above the heel, you may be suffering from Achilles Tendonitis. This troublesome condition affects the Achilles tendon, which is the strongest and largest tendon in the body and connects the leg to the foot as it stretches from the lower leg to the heel bone.
Typically occurring in both feet, brachymetatarsia is a condition characterized by a short metatarsal. The foot has five metatarsals and this condition results in one shortened toe. If more than one of the long bones of the foot is affected, it is known as brachymetapody.
The causes of brachymetatarsia are genetic or situational, meaning that you can be born with it or it can be induced by premature closure in the metatarsal growth plate due to a trauma. If you suffer from brachymetatarsia, you may find it difficult to properly balance or smoothly transfer weight across the toes when walking or running.

I had to go back today for some discomfort on one of my toes on one side; Suzie was able to get me in same day to see the doctor. Doctor said it looked like one nail was coming back in and we could leave it or do another small surgery. I opted for the surgery and to my surprise he said he could do it right then and there! I had my step daughter with me so
