When I started in the financial services business in 1997, I didn't fully understand that much of the industry was focused primarily on investments rather than holistic planning. My feeling has always been that a sound financial plan was something everyone needed, so that was my aim when I transitioned to the industry: to serve everyday people with holistic financial planning.
