The food at Peohe's is typically phenomenal. The Chilean Sea Bass is to die for! Highly recommend that. I've dined here on numerous occasions, but wasn't a very good experience last time I went. I was inquiring about the swordfish and the waiter highly recommended the mango salsa topping for it. He talked it up pretty well, so I ordered it for my swordfish topping. He didn't bother to tell us that it was an additional $4 to have it. He sold it as if it's a topping choice with no hidden fees. I then ordered the chocolate lava cake at the end of my meal which takes

I meant to post this review on Christmas Eve when I originally went.
My husband and I came here on Christmas Eve 2021.
The expectation that I have for a fine dining establishment is that the ambience is comparable to the quality of food that is served.
I gave this business a 5-star review because the ambience is beautiful with a touch of elegance and a side of home. In other words, it was fancy , but not "snobbishly fancy." The food was absolutely cooked with tender loving care. Therefore, this restaurant definitely surpasses my expectations of a fine dining establishment

Had friends come visit from Chicago and Denver for a bday weekend celebration. This dinner was supposed to be one of the best moments of the entire weekend. Not so much. Had to wait a bit, though there was a reservation. The ambiance was fun, lively conversation all around. We ordered our drinks, was well over half an hour to receive. Two of us (including myself) ordered dirty Martinis, bland and warm. The others said their drinks were watered-down bc the ice had melted. We mentioned to our server what was going on, she explained there was only one bartender. I ordered another one, as the other

Sunday brunch to celebrate my BIRTHDAY! Reservation on open table stated so! Poorly staffed-no utensils even when food was served-no muffins served until mentioned-no birthday dessert-coffee twice the price as anywhere else!
Even when speaking by phone with the manager the next day the atmosphere was argumentative and not accommodating until I kept repeating myself! Ridiculous ‼

Delicious seafood and meat. Amazing fresh local foods, and soups and salads.
They have a great drink list and non alcoholic mock tails as well
Great for families and small groups

We went on thanksgiving so we weren’t expecting anything crazy and had it been a regular night I’d give a 2, but this was bad. Slow, but very nice service. Pupu platter was ehh, shrimp were room temp and tasted recently frozen. Caesar salads were wilted. Soup was cold. Turkey dinner was really not good. Sea bass was the only good thing. 2/4 desserts weren’t available. And the 2 that we got, pumpkin and pecan were both horrible.

We came here for a business dinner and the service from Courtney was impeccable. She was very attentive and was able to handle all 30 of us with drinks, appetizers, main courses and desserts. Everything was delicious. I had the PuPu platter and steamed artichoke as a starter. These were two things that I had never had before and they were very good. For the main course I ordered the sesame salmon and it was absolutely delicious. For dessert, the table had four of the lava cakes and then a variety of other desserts. The lava cakes were hands-down the best dessert. Oh, and did I mention we had four

What a fabulous lunch my family and I shared on the patio recently. Kari, our server was efficient, so very pleasant and knowledgeable about menu items! The food and outdoor ambience were great, as were the beverages. Great wine list too.
Bread rolls we requested for the table were tasty and warm. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful New England-style clam chowder. My grilled fish tacos excellent. They're served with the fresh skinny fries. My ice cream dessert was terrific and coffee was hot and fresh. Full recommendations

Peohe’s food and service yet again 5 stars. We were seated outside, it was little cloudy and windy but heated lights next to each table made it comfortably warm. Mango Mojito cocktail was great, shrimp cocktail never disappoints-had that before and as usual fresh and tasty; grilled shrimp+artichoke languine with feta cheese (surprising combination) tasted really good and so did the filet mignon with crab tail. Our server did excellent job and overall great experience. Definitely coming back and highly recommended; reservations needed though, it gets busy.

What an adventure yesterday was! I had made reservations for 2 pm for restaurant week not realizing the menu was only for dinner! Silly me!
When we arrived, the hostesses were not very friendly or welcoming, which seems to be a common theme recently. We hoped they would have a restaurant week menu for lunch, which they did not, but I was still happy to get my ultimate fave salad, their chopped spinach salad with warm bacon dressing! I also tried their Peach Palmer, which was amazing! Our server, Kyle, was awesome and very friendly! Food came out quickly, which oddly came out before our drinks

My girls decided to take me out because I became a USA citizen today! They let me choose where to go. I have been trying to come here for a long time and I felt it was the perfect ocasión to go here and have a lovely dinner! I made reservations through open table at 7:45 for party of 5. When we arrived the hostess was very sweet and profesional! She took us to our table and wow we got such a great table with above ocean view!
Our waitress came and she was amazing since the first second all the way to the last second we were there. Her name is RACHEL!!! She is the best! Ask for her and you won

The PuPu platter was really good but the sushi rolls are mediocre at best; something you'd get at a grocery store deli. The spicy ahi was very good but not very spicy. The molten chocolate cake was good but definitely overpriced. You can get the same thing at Chili's for a lot less.
We went as a guest, so we did not pay. But I don't think I would feel comfortable paying these prices for the food based on taste and quality.
The scenery is awesome and the ambiance is nice but the restaurant needs a little update and they for sure to get rid of the carpet.

Had the calamari appetizer, baked halibut with rice and veggies. The halibut was good but not very moist. For dessert I had the lava cake with Macadamia ice cream which was a little dry but okay. It would have been better warmed up. Overall, the calamari was the star of the show and the view was amazing!!

Excellent Service, Excellent Food! Beautiful views and reasonable pricing. It was an excellent evening while our server Gus took care of us. Starting from Hostess to server to Ambiance and food, this restaurant should be rated a 5 star, given the times we live in right now. Thank you for your excellent service and big smiles! Keep it up!

Peohe's has a great location at the Landing on the north side of Coronado. We had great patio seats overlooking the harbor towards the Embarcadero. After we sat and enjoyed the view, everything went downhill from there.
The server initially was timely, and we gave our full order at one time. Our wine came out promptly. It wasn't until 45 minutes later that we saw our server again, fortunately with our lunch orders. Half of our hot food was stone cold, the rest was warm.
We had the fish tacos and sweet potato fries ($1 surcharge). The grilled fish was flavored okay with the Cajun spice
