Only had mulled wine here but it was a lovely experience! $11 for a glass of delicious mulled wine, fast service. They didn't pressure us to get any food which was appreciated since we had come from brunch at another spot and weren't hungry. We just wanted a glass of wine. :) the mulled wine was spiced very well, served hot, and was perfect for a chilly NYC winter day. I'd love to come back in the future and try their food!

Solid food at reasonable prices - we enjoyed our lunch here. There is definitely a wait on the weekend for brunch. You have to go and stand in line, no putting your name down. The breakfast was filling and the eggs and bacon were cooked well. I wasn’t a fan of the home fries because the fries themselves were so small and therefore difficult to pick up. Also, I deducted a star because they brought out one entree 5-10 minutes after the others so our food got cold as we didn’t want to eat without our friend.

Gramercy has plenty of brunch spots, but this one takes the cake. Got the Brioche French Toast; It was divine. It was toasted to perfection, and was complemented really well by the lemon curd. Bellini was a nice punchy cocktail but the iced cake coffee fell a bit short of my expectation. Good quick service and pleasant ambience.

This is a delightful neighborhood place that we go to a few times a month. The food is remarkably consistent and comforting; the service is kind and friendly. They have a terrific brunch, which is probably when they’re busiest, but don’t overlook the dinners - which are all outstanding. Everything seems like it was home cooked by your favorite aunt. This place feels like the best restaurant in a small town. Enjoy!

Really large portions so come hungry! We got the chocolate chip pancakes and eggs Benedict. Fluffy pancakes with a generous amount of chocolate chips, nice bittersweet and not overloaded with sweetness. Eggs Benedict were standard, yummy but not exceptional. Vaccine and ID cards checked before being seated. Very helpful and kind staff. Clean dining area and bathrooms. Would visit again.

My boyfriend and I went to the Bluebell Cafe on a Sunday for brunch. We were surprised how busy it was and took it as a good sign. We ended up sitting at the bar because it was so busy. The staff members that we interacted with were nice and the food was good. We had the avocado toast, blueberry pancakes, and the breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, and a biscuit. The biscuit in particular was delish.

I had a pickup order with the place 11am Sun and it came out so quick! I ordered Brioche French Toast and the lady on the phone said "it'll be ready in 10-15 mins." Happy surprise, I had to be in a hurry to change and almost run to the cafe.
A young lady of their staff was so friendly getting me my order. The French Toast was places nicely in a bag, with sufficient amount of syrups and butters. Except for the hip vibe you can get at the cafe, I suppose nothing else was different from dining in experience.

Last month (late review) - came here after getting turned away from busy restaurants at two other spots. Charming interior with wooden furniture abound and lots of lighting from the windows up front. Thankfully got a table for two with no wait.
Since it was brunch time, decided on the Chocolate Chip Banana Pancakes ($13ish) and a Bloody Mary ($8). The three large pancakes were served with maple syrup and fruit, while being topped with powdered sugar. Thought this would be a sweetness overload, but the hearty batter was pretty even with the ingredients. Bloody Mary had a nice spicy kick though

They REFUSED to serve me a bowl of soup.
It was a bitter day outside and I don't eat eggs or dairy.
I was told I had to wait until 11
I know there were huge pots of soup warming up for the 11 o'clock crowd
I just know it
I'm putting a picture in my review of the very very strict, rule following server
I had avocado toast
He had oatmeal. Soy milk is
I removed the picture of the very rigid, I'm just following orders server at the request of the owner...........

This is a classy cafe/restaurant that serves quality renditions of breakfast foods with an elegant environment. I came for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was a lovely way to start the day. Here's what I ordered:
1. Bluebell Breakfast
A somewhat generous plate of breakfast foods made with care. We asked for sunny-side eggs which was well made but one egg was a bit undercooked and so the whites were a bit too runny. The potatoes were crispy and salty, a nice contrast to the eggs. The bacon was crispy and flavourful while the sausage was juicy and tender. My favourite part of this dish

Not sure how much it is a Manhattan style eatery, but we had a great time during our visit to town. The staff was helpful and friendly, the food was timely and well prepared. The place has a classic feeling with its traditional wooden furniture and bare walls. We had the fish cakes, the pumpkin soup, the fish burger and the chili, all of them were simple but homey and tasty. Didn't reserve, but had no problem having a seat on a Tuesday evening.

Like most restaurants in New York, it is on the small side. We came for breakfast and were not disappointed. Sometimes when I order crispy bacon ~ that's not what I get. Here, crispy bacon was crispy bacon ~ loved it!! Portions are generous and our hot food arrived hot. When we arrived the person that sat us was doing double duty because there was a hostess when we left. They are set up to cater to couples or parties greater than 4. There were only 2 actual tables for 4, the tables for 2 could be pushed together, but they chose not to do that for our party of 4.
Great service and good

Stopped in for lunch today and had a nice meal. The restaurant is a mix of blue plate diner and classic local Manhattan coffee shop. The clientele was mostly older, but it was also a Tuesday afternoon.
It has a fairly standard menu -- soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. I was pleased to see that there were a few vegetarian options and a couple vegan. Today was cold so we enjoyed a delicious potato leek soup, a quinoa salad, and a sandwich. The soup had no cream, which we were hoping for.
Overall good meal!

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. It's a cute mix of diner and brunch spot. The service is okay, nothing good nor bad.
The food however, was disappointing. The prices were fair though for the portions.
Crab cake eggs Benedict: my eggs weren't as runny as I'd expect for a Benedict and the hollandaise wasn't very good and was cold. The actual crab cake was mostly filler and didn't have much of a crab flavor. My food was a bit soggy and overall definitely cold.
The side potatoes that came with it were semi crispy, but overall also soggy and had no flavor.
I was genuinely
