I am very disappointed with my experience with this credit union especially Jennifer Hudson. We went in trying to get a heloc they told us everything was going to be fine told us our appraisal will pass no problem. Well our appraisal did pass and we could have gotten a good chunk of our debt taken care of but they decided it wasn’t worth it for them after putting us through everything and wasting our time and now charging us an appraisal fee. This bank is horrible I don’t know why anyone would go to them go to vibrant if you want to get your money’s worth.

I have had $100 sitting in a savings account at Ascentra for several years and just let it earn a little interest over time. I recently noticed that it has not earned any interest at all in awhile so I asked the bank about it and was told that my account is "dormant" since I have done nothing with it for awhile. I find that ridiculous. It would have earned a little something in another institution. I will keep my money elsewhere.

Absolute nightmare of a credit union. Not only were there systems infiltrated, numerous people received fraudulent charges on their accounts. I had both my Debit and Credit cards frozen, making me unable to pay my bills and afford basic necessities. I had to call again both the credit department and the debit department to have new cards issued and sent out, of which neither have arrived and it's been 18 days.
When I called, the associates on the other end in the debit, credit, and disputes departments were rude and condescending. She couldn't believe I had questions regarding disputes
