Winterization (or Summerization, in some cases) is the process of preparing your marine, snowmobiles, and other equipment for off-season storage. If you're unsure as to all the steps necessary for the proper winterization, give us a call and we'll take care of your baby! We completely drain all the gas and oil, in most cases.

I depend on my Garden Tractor and needed competent maintenance to be confident of performance. Middle of vacation with 15 kids who must have tube and knee board fix for summer when the boat died. Called Kevin and had it in his shop 45 minutes later. He understood the urgency even though he had work stacked up, he found our issue quickly and we picked up a repaired boat two hours later. Back to pulling kids until dark that same night, and this 25 year old boat is purring like a kitten! Good price from a seasoned technician who did NOT try to sell us what we didn’t need. Highly recommend.

Kevin is absolutely fabulous to do business with. Not only has he fixed issues I have had with outboards and lawn tractors over the years, I always end up learning something from him in the process as he is always more than willing to share, which I appreciate greatly. He is always very reasonable with his prices too. Highly recommended!

Was recommended by the marina manager (one of the big resorts on Gull) and one of the dock hands on two separate times to use K&J. They both said Kevin does good work and is honest. I can attest to both!! Had a problem with our Glastron while on vacation. Kevin did good work, was able to get it repaired fast and was very transparent about the repair. I was very pleased with the repair costs. Recommend Kevin!

I rarely take the time to write a review, but I just have to share my experience with Kevin at K & J Small Engine repair. Excellent. On the week before a busy holiday weekend with family and friends, our pontoon would not start. Kevin not only was responsive immediately to my phone calls and inquiries, but he solved our problem quickly! Kevin was great. I needed a quick repair on a generator after a storm. He told me to bring it right in. I got it to him at the end of his normal hours and he worked on it right away that evening and had it fixed within 1 & 1/2 hours so we could use it tonight.
It worked like new and his cost was very reasonable.
I will definitely bring any small engine repairs to Kevin again.
