Services
Maurice and Dawn Samuels founded By Dawn's Early Light Home Care Services in 2015. They both have such a love and respect for those that are vulnerable with home care needs. At a young age Dawn watched her mother battle every stage of breast cancer, during a time home based services such as: private duty home care, hospice services, and palliative care were not an option.
Came to By Dawn's Early Light in March of 2019 and has been an asset to our company since day one. Carmen continues to be a bright light to all those that she provides care for. Not only is Carmen dependable and trustworthy, she has a kind spirit that her clients rave about. We are so thankful for Carmen.
Respite gives caregivers the opportunity to leave home for a chosen period of time with a piece of mind of knowing their loved ones are in capable hands. Respite care is a wonderful resource for family/primary caregivers to be relieved for just a few hours while running errands or 24 hours around the clock while leaving for vacation or for an event.

Management is all about sticking up for their employees instead of the care for their patients. My father had horrible at home care. The caretaker refused to feed my father because she was tired of changing his poppy diapers(witnesses to this). I called to complain, and management said that we had their best worker and that this could not be true. This worker also, was late or was a no-show all the time. My father is bed-ridden and needs someone there daily. When we called to complain about this one, they told us that "we" were the problem, not them!! FINALLY, my dad's case worker had to call them

Horrible business indeed!!!! Will seek better business bureau!!! They stood up my father from 10 AM schedule. My father was in panic for help all day till 1:30 PM. They said they will have someone at 12 o'clock noon to take care of my father, which it did not go through at all, and they scheduled for 1:30 PM. Finally, one lady came in who was much nicer than the company itself. I heard all the tones they use, and I know. A 33-year-old girl was fired and got hired back the next day. The head boss at this company does NOT care about their clients. The caretaker neglected the business and clients

The service was excellent. I had service three hours a day for three days a week.The primary duty was preparing a meal. The cooking was very good and tasty and Amina was willing to try new recipes. Her light housekeeping was fast and thorough. She was willing to do extra projects. She was always prompt and did not leave early. She was a pleasant conversations.
I would recommend Amina and By Dawn’s Early Light highly.

By Dawn's Early Light is a great company to work for. She pairs her client's with staff that suits individual needs. As an employer the company also looks out for there employees. I had to take a leave due to family issues. She continues to welcome me back anytime I am ready. I have known Dawn for over 25 years and she is compassionate about the needs of others. This shows in her companies communication and dedication with clients, there families, and her employees. By Dawn’s Early Light Home Care has been a partner in care for several of my previous and current clients. I have used her Home Care Services since she opened. Her Care Team provides EXCELLENT care and compassion to every client, specializing in the more challenging cases including 24 hour and Dementia / Alzheimer’s patients.
Now adding more value and need to the clients they offer transportation to and from appointments, with Handicap accessible vehicles.
There is no doubt that I would refer my loved ones to By Dawn’s Early Light.

Never having been through dealing with an aging parent, we asked Dawn’s Early Light to meet with us and help us figure out what to do. One sibling was out of state, so she was on zoom with us.
Dawn explained the process and helped us look at our options. She helped us identify things to change in mom’s home for her safety and convenience.
We appreciated that we had one woman, not ever changing people. The woman was chosen based on our mom’s temperament and specific needs. Mom was resistant at first. It wasn’t long before the woman won her over. We really appreciated the thorough notes

Dawn took care of my Mom for 7 years. During that time, Dawn became a member of our family. No one could have taken better care of my Mom. Dawn ensured that all of her physical needs were properly cared for and at the same time was friendly and personable. She is completely trustworthy and responsible. Since my Mom has died, Dawn and her husband have remained in contact with my Dad, checking in with him weekly and doing his grocery shopping during the Covid Pandemic. I can only say good things about Dawn.
