Services
Originally known as David E. Oeschger, Ph. D., and Associates, the practice was founded by Dr. Dave Oeschger with a commitment to integrate a professional standard of mental health care with biblical principles. In 1995, the practice was formally renamed "WellSpring Counseling Center" to reflect the expansion of our clinical team, including psychologists and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors.
In a family unit, the whole is comprised of the sum of its parts. Every member contributes to the family system and health of the family. Within this context of multiple interactions and personalities, it follows that misunderstandings, miscommunications, tension, and conflict can easily develop. Family dysfunction can be fueled by chronic and longstanding issues, current circumstances, or acute crises such as illness, death, or divorce.
Young children, adolescents, and teenagers often struggle with a variety of issues related to self-image, friendships/peer groups, insecurities and fears, mood, school, and family dynamics. Access to technology and social media has exacerbated these problems and now exposes our children to unprecedented influences, pressures, and choices.
Marriage was designed by God to be a beautiful representation of love with emotional, physical, and spiritual unity, but, too often, marriages become a source of tension, conflict, and emotional pain. Marital therapy provides a setting and path for couples to communicate effectively, resolve their differences, and discover or re-discover emotional and physical intimacy.
The population of older adults presents with a wide range of issues, concerns, and needs. Some individuals in this age group are dealing with depression, losses, illness/medical concerns, or life transitions. Others are worried about their adult children or are even raising their grandchildren. Some are struggling with the same anxieties, worries, relationship problems, and situational difficulties as members of younger generations.

I did not find much benefit from services here. I felt the reason I had sought services was minimized. But to top it off 1 year later I got a bill from collections that I had not once received. I had already paid $200+ dollars to this agency, but for whatever reason I had not received this additional bill. I had moved, however my mail was being forwarded. In addition to this my phone number had not changed. I am confused why you would not call someone who has a delinquent bill when they had paid other bills, and out of respect. Will not return for services.
