Services
Established in late 1993, the property began as empty pastures and groves of walnut trees. Then owners, Joe and Nanette Yarborough, started to develop the land into the beautiful place it is now. As a certified Master Gardener, Nannette created gardens, orchards, walking paths, and quiet retreats all over the property.
Where do I even start! From start to finish we had the most amazing experience working with Matt and everyone involved at Walnut Hill Farm. We planned for a year and a half. It was absolutely worth all the time and money we invested into having our dream wedding reception. Looking back, there wasn't one thing I would've changed, it was perfect.
Hilltop Barn is a gorgeous, versatile barn with stunning grounds for al fresco ceremonies, cocktail hours and lawn activities. The casually elegant Barn boasts lovely 20-foot-high ceilings, large doors for plenty of natural light to fill the venue, seating for 350 guests, and polished-concrete floors to make a beautiful backdrop for your event.
Incredible mountain views await you in the Stable House. Complete with a kitchen that overlooks the expansive mountain views, this lodging provides all the comforts of home. This one bedroom house sits in the same paddock as the Stable Suites to create a community atmosphere for you and your guests.
Welcome to Dinner at the Barn at Walnut Hill Farm. While our menu is based on the season's bounty we strive to pair locally sourced ingredients, including foods and herbs grown here on the farm. I can’t thank Matt enough for all he did these last 3 months as we prepared for my daughter’s big day! His calm and confident spirit set us at ease with all the decisions we had to make.
I loved how he made us feel like we could change things anytime, even if needed to be at the last minute. I love how he helped us with ideas on getting the floral cost down. How he made it so easy to relax and enjoy the process. On the day of the wedding I had no doubt things would be done right. Everything ran extremely well and the place was beautiful.

Not a great place for an outdoor concert. Went and seen JJ Grey and I couldn’t enjoy the show with all the school busses with squeaking brakes constantly in and out of the venture driving right beside the stage. Also while they were waiting for folks they kept the engines running. Not a very professional set up for an outdoor show, I found it very disrespectful. The owner replied to my review so I added a star. I appreciated the response.

Walnut Hill Farms is a beautiful, secluded place overflowing with understated elegance that adds a country chic feel to any event. The best thing about this venue is the SPACE! The barn is big enough to accommodate any size wedding or party, and the lofty ceilings, wrap around porches, and expansive, well-maintained grounds guarantee that you and your guests never feel crowded. And we fit so perfectly into the back corner of the barn! We love working with Matt and Sarah and always look forward to our time at Walnut Hill Farm.
