The Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine is a highly diversified integrative medical center in Scottsdale. Martha Grout, MD, MD (H) leads our team of doctors and medical professionals, and we take a focus on functional medicine, a process of healthcare that addresses the underlying causes of illnesses, implements a systems-oriented plan of treatment, and makes use of partnership between a patient and their doctor.
We integrate the most effective methods from both traditional and alternative medicine to provide education and empowerment to patients, giving them the tools and information to live a healthier life.* No other holistic center makes use of as many medical services in the same facility. We help patients from all over the world and have mastered a wide breadth of diagnostic abilities and treatments.

At our Scottsdale integrative medical center, it is all too common that we hear stories of patients who have gone to countless doctors and tried everything to get better. They are experiencing symptoms that no prescription drug can truly ease, their suffering is being undermined or even dismissed, and they are left to deal with the confusion alone.
At the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine, we are a highly diversified and dedicated team of care providers. Our Scottsdale integrative medical center boasts the most varied group of holistic medical professionals in the Southwest and we draw from a vast range of traditional and alternative care techniques.

When we are 20, we tend to think that we are either healthy or sick - nothing in between. It's black or white. By age 40 we have come to realize that often sickness is a slow descent away from health. Symptoms develop - heartburn, bloating, diarrhea, joint pain, miscarriage, memory fog, slower reflexes, lack of energy.

My husband and I are thankful to have a doctor like Dr. M Grout who listens and advises/treats accordingly. She and her staff are professional as well as personally caring. I have been going to her for preventative care for 4+ years and have never been healthier at 78 years old. My husband and I do everything we can alternatively and we are healthy and happy.

I have been working with Dr Martha Grout for 20 years.
Martha is a voice of reason and knowledge. She looks at things that come up with my health in the widest lens of anyone i have ever met. Martha has three ways she looks at things in my opinion--1) western medicine 2) eastern medicine 3)her own medicine!
i have worked with many doctors and healers in my 60 years--and i trust her with my life over all of them combined...and i know that might sound funny...but i mean it...but she is also very clear that she can lead me to the pond-but i have to drink the water...she can help me see my way to

We felt that the primary goal of Dr Grout was to separate us from our money rather than healing. Very high rates for everything from blood draws to brief phone consults. $145 to take a vial and prep it, $800 for a test that the lab that would actually process it advertises at $500. After a number of 'tests' that were basically quackery, Dr Grout recommended a risky procedure for a diagnosis that is no longer recognized as valid. I would not recommend.

When I was diagnosed with Lyme disease, my first concern was where I could find treatment. Research brought me to the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine (AZCAM), which is under the direction of Dr. Martha Grout. After having a port put in for easy access during treatment, I began a 2 month course of IV antibiotics, administered competently and efficiently by the AZCAM med techs. The IV room was comfortable, but lacked a TV, which would have provided a diversion from the long hours of daily treatment. In addition to the required antibiotics for Lyme treatment, Dr. Grout, who oversees each patient
