Digital radiography is a type of X-ray imaging, in which digital sensors are employed in place of the usual photographic film. It bypasses the chemical processes and is capable of transferring the images digitally. There is less radiation to create an image similar to one produced by traditional radiography.
Dental implants use a titanium root that is screwed into place, onto the jawbone to provide support to the implant above. It is one of the most effective tools used in dentistry for providing support to a tooth, or a group of teeth needs replacement due to damage. Technically speaking all root-based dental implants are endosseous implants.
A small needle, placed in your elbow or on your hand, disperses the IV sedation medication. Many people are scared of needles, which makes the process challenging. Although the sensation is very similar to a slight prick or a pinch, oral sedation is possible. Request your dentist to give you an oral sedation before and after they inject the medicine.
Allow the surgical dressing ( if any ) protecting the tissue to become stiff and do not drink anything hot or warm before three to four hours. The recovery holiday lasts around one week to a fortnight, and there might be some swelling for the initial two days. I am new to town and was looking for my new dental office close to my home. Jessica at the front desk as well as the hygienist and my new favorite dentist Dr Ilyas did a wonderful job. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Ilyas was very pragmatic and very honest. He didn’t try to add on any services that I didn’t need. I was very much welcomed and felt at home. Will return in the future.

The office manager is nasty. I had a crown recommended by the dr. that needs to be done. I am in California, and called them to find out how long the process will work as I need to plan the time to stay in CT. Jessica could not answer, only told me how long the medical insurance will take, but that was not my question, when the office manager got… on the phone, he was nasty and cannot take a moment to listen, told me he has five people on the phone, just hung up and told me to go elsewhere! Wow, I THINK the dentist himself looks like a newly graduate and really needs some help on hiring
