Quartz is a highly durable composite of crushed natural quartz and resin. It is non-porous and requires practically no maintenance. Quartz has become our most popular countertop material. They call back when they say they are, and they have so many options. Got my subway tiles in excellent condition, i had such a great experience that i purchased my countertops with them. Customer service is top knotch, and the shipment is done in a timely manner. I will go here when i re do my bathrooms ... do urself a favor n dont go to home depot go here!

I was renovating two bathrooms and came across Ideal Tile of Stamford. As soon as I walked through their doors, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. They were great and very knowledgeable in helping me pick out the tiles for my bathroom floors, walls and showers. Lee & Anne made what would have been an extremely stressful “to do” fun and easy! I am so happy with the choices we chose, my bathrooms look absolutely perfect! Definitely giving them a 5 star review and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you for all of your help!

Initially, I liked this store - it is well organized and I like to patronize family owned businesses. I had success w/them ordering tile and floor ceramics for 2 bathrooms. However, when it was time to redo the living room fireplace, things deteriorated. The owner located product that I was looking for and indicated that the stone was as clean as the stone could get and without visible defects or mineral deposits. Photos appeared to support this. However, once it arrived it was full of lines and gashes --even their fabricator (a partner in the business) could not find anywhere to cut the stone

We recently completed a project at our house and needed to purchase tile and a marble countertop. I went to Lima, Best (looking at tile only), and Ideal Tile and ultimately chose Ideal. Though their pricing is a little higher than Lima, the professionalism and service is far superior. Fantastic tile selection, reasonable pricing, and everyone I dealt with was wonderful. Lee was efficient with communication, and kept me apprised of the status of the delivery of our marble slab and when installation would occur. Franco did the templating and oversaw install - he was clearly very experienced

When taking on the task of having to renovate my Mother's home, knowing all the bathrooms and kitchen required new stone and tile work--I'll be honest--even for an OCD perfectionist like myself I felt overwhelmed
Lee took over and had not only the exact materials but great design advice and vision for the project--plus I stayed within budget (for the first time in my life!)
Service and selection exceeded my expectations and am already planning our next remodel with them.

Gail and Lee are fantastic! It took us 2 years to finalize plans for 2 bathrooms with lots of visits to Ideal Tile in Stamford. Each time we were greeted with enthusiasm and patience. When a tile that we loved was discontinued, Gail called far and wide to try to find enough for our bathroom. When that failed, she found us a perfect replacement!
