Porter's Pharmacy and Compounding Lab is locally owned and operated by DeCaria Brothers Inc., a family business. Porter's Pharmacy is a healthcare company. It is neither a grocery store, a convenience store, nor retail store. We are a patient-focused Pharmacy committed to helping our patient's manage their health.
If you or any family members would be unable to visit our pharmacy in person to pick up your prescription(s), no worries. You can count on us to promptly arrange delivery or shipping directly to your home for free. If you would prefer to drop off/pick up your prescriptions without leaving your vehicle to enter the pharmacy, please notify us upon arrival in our parking lot at 412-264-2230 and we will come outside to meet you.
Porter's Pharmacy and Compounding Lab is a pharmacy that is accredited by the Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB). Porter's is classified as a "non-sterile" Compounding Pharmacy. This means that while we can prepare compounds, our labs are just not certified to prepare medications that are either injected or used on the eye.
Porter's Pharmacy does offer medication packaging and pharmacy services specific for patients who reside in Long Term Care Facilities. Our Long Term Care Division holds the same values and shares in the same goals as our family prescription pharmacy business. All patients are treated with respect and dignity.
